@Sunnycorle wrote:Condemn all of Ebay for one problem? What an alarmist. There are really good sellers on eBay that make a living selling. Shame on you to post this post.
Are you kidding me?? I've purchased from eBay for 15 years myself and have had good luck many times. I said BE CAREFUL - not "don't buy!". Geeze already!

I would have turned that seller in for price gouging as soon as I saw that price for paper towels. I never would have bought paper towels for that much money.
I have to believe PT could be ordered from Walmart, Target, etc. and delivered if they aren't in your store.

We were unable to find them in our local area, so I thought eBay might be a good start. The seller, ship them to the wrong address, but somehow the UPS tracking said it was delivered to my home. I called UPS and spoke to customer service representative. He checked the tracking, and said it was indeed sent to another address, not mine, but in the same state. He said that the seller used an incorrect shipping label. I don't know how the tracking said it was delivered to my house, but it wasn't. I tried contacting this person on eBay, with no results. I opened a case against him, citing the fact that if they checked with UPS to see where the package went, they would understand that I did not receive it. Apparently at least three other people had the same problem. eBay ruled in the sellers favor, and I am out $75 for paper towels I did not receive. Be very careful when you buy on eBay. I learned a hard lesson.
@Effie54 - as someone else mentioned, you need to contact UPS customer service again and ask them to send you written confirmation showing where exactly your package ended up at - then turnaround and send that to EBay to show you didn't receive this package.
Excellent idea!! Thank you!

Exactly same thing happened to me. Haven't used Paypal or Ebay for at least 7 years.

I'm sorry this happened to you, but I wanted to mention a good website for buying such things.
Quill -- and I ordered paper towels from them today. They have a lot of items hard to find in the store.
Another poster here mentioned them, and I apologize to her it was @Sunshine something. I'd go back to the thread, but I wanted to get this message to you asap so you can check them out.
I understand your disappointment and surely would follow up with eBay...but in the meantime, you can find what you need at Quill.
ETA, it was poster @sunshine45 -- I am so thankful she posted!

@Effie54 - the other issue with eBay. I was searching for masks. I found a vendor and looked at "about us". It showed an American company. Since I wanted them ASAP, delivery time was important. I purchased them and on the email receipt, the vendor was located in China. A month later still waiting, deceptive advertising

@Effie54 I do hope this gets resolved to your satisfaction. Giving $75 for something not received...$75 is not pocket change. I hope you get your money back.
