When the accusations were first reported, I didn't want to believe them.  Growing up enjoying BC, I didn't want them to be true.  I wanted to think that there were opportunists out there hoping to score against a big celebrity.  How wrong I was.  I'm so disappointed - sorry for all of the legitimate victims and saddened that BC's fans and audience were so deceived.  I don't care how old he is or the state of his health, he needs to be held accountable.

Same here ....  but it's a reminder that a person's "persona" is not who they are in real life.

To me, his alleged actions are not that of a "normal" person.  At least I don't want to believe they are.

But that begs the question, what the heck is wrong with him?  Some of the allegations are sickening.  Did he not see anything wrong with what he did?  How does that work?  Are some people so warped and bent that they can justify such things?

And, I get that the wife might not have wanted to lose her gravy train, but, again, WHAT kind of person would continue to look the other way while this stuff was going on?

Why would all those women sit out their trauma for years, decades?  I don't get it.

@ritasNo1Fan - shame, guilt.....the victim - abuser relationship/cycle.....plus add on top of that his celebrity and power.....period.  Each of these cases taken individually 30, 40 plus years ago... Who would have believed the victim?
