From what I've read, they didn't know he was slipping them drugs.
He gave her 3 pills - what on earth did she think they were?
She claims he said they were herbal pills to help calm/relax her. She also said the pills were blue (although some are reporting purple). He said the pills were Benedryl. They may exist but I have never seen a blue Benedryl. Sounds more like 10 mg Valium.

Thanks for clarifying. I know some women had no idea he was drugging them at all. From what you've said, obviously some asked questions.

@Noel7, I have not followed the claims of the other women but to the best of my knowledge Constand is the only one that was directly given the drugs with the others having had something slipped in a drink. The descriptions from others that I have seen sound a lot like they were given rohypnol or a related drug.

It doesn't matter what they took or how much they took of something.
If you cannot give your consent, it means the same as no.

Although I've never found him attractive, how sad that he had to drug them, on top of paying. I guess he didn't want a "relationship" outside of marriage. Maybe he and his wife had such an agreement..."It's okay, as long as you pay for it. NO relationship!"
And whether that is the case or not, his wife had to have known about what he was doing. I don't blame her for anything. Her only guilt would be if she knew he was drugging the women and then assaulting them.
I am sorry for her shame at this coming out.
I don't feel sorry for her at all .... and her calling all the victims "liars" was way out of line. You don't protect criminals ... even if they are your very rich husband! JMO
I agree that the wife has to have known about his dalliances...she is far from dumb. I think she was afflicted with the "look the other way" syndrome.
I would have had a lot more respect for Mrs.Cosby if she hadn't defended him and put the blame on the women....ala Hillary.
HC didn't blame any women ... she kept quiet.

Hi Again,
Yes, that's what I thought was going on, the first part where they didn't know. I thought of Rohypnol or something like it, too, because so many women blacked out and had no idea what had happened to them.
A horrible man, a hypocrite.

I really thought she did, however I see very little difference in the two.

OK - I am not really following this but this is what I know -- every one of these women either went to his hotel or to his home. Now my Mother told me you do not go to a man's private home unless you have an expectation to have an intimate time. Second - some here are saying they were professional escorts - a nice way to say prostitutes. Well, when he paid them what did they expect to happen. At least the one in Pa. knowingly took alcohol and pills. So I really have to say that these women really have to accept some responsibility for how these things turned out. I mean , a man orders a prostitute , she comes to his house, does some pills, gets paid and then he has sex with her while she is loopy from the drugs. Did she give consent - if I was on a jury I'd say when she accepted payment she gave consent.
None of the above statement is to say that he isn't some kind of perverted scumbag - he is for certain, I'm just saying that these women seem to need to accept some responsibility for their own behavior and poor judgement.

There have been civil cases filed for many of the 50+ women who have come forward with practically identical stories of how he drugged them before having non-consensual secks with them. There's been some recent news from previous depositions where Cosby had 5 or 6 women sent over to him from a talent agency. These were presumed to be interviews for possible casting on his show.
Now it's also quite possible he also had prostitutes sent over from someplace else, but these are not the women that have been referred to recently.
The best news in all of this is that it's been determined he will stand trial for not a civil case, but a criminal trial.
IMO, any way you look at it, he's a predator.
