It crushes my soul that Bill Cosby is, by far too many accounts, a serial rapist. I loved his comedy albums when I was growing up and this puts a stain on them for me. I'm sorry he was able to get away with it and continue to harm women for so long. I'm mad that women had been talking about this for years, but it took a man saying it in his comedy act for people to finally start believing it. I'm mad that it took 30 women coming forward before it really got traction and I'm so sad the number is now over 50 and there may still be many more out there too embarrassed to come forward. Everything about this is just horrible.

Chynnablue, it is horrible what he did and it is horrible how he and his wife continue to try and wiggle their way out of it!

His own deposition should nail him, but who knows...

I can't understand why any woman would take his side after he admitted he drugged women to have sex with them without their consent.

Is any woman that uninformed that they do not understand that is a definition of rape?

@ChynnaBlue   We have all his albums, and just yesterday, DH asked me what we'll do with them "now."  I cannot imagine that we'll be able to listen and laugh uproariously at them ever again.

   As you say, it is crushing to realize that a man with as much talent and so many advantages in life turned out to be such a monster.

On 20/20 tv program tonight, 10:00 pm, EST...."The New Cosby Wars".  Elizabeth Vargas was on 20/20 last night and announced this would be on with "new information" concerning Cosby.

    My thoughts exactly....watching his TV show was a weekly family night event!  I so enjoyed his humor in his TV show and albums.
