RE: AZ taxpayers. Death Penalty cases are just really expensive, because it is the ultimate punishment, so it takes a long time and people are overly cautious (making it even slower)

I am not a DP proponent myself, for that reason, plus for a couple of other reasons--but if your state allows the DP, and it breaks the bank- it may be time to reconsider the law.

Add to that: this defendant has to go down in history as one of the most difficult defendants of all times and she is costing so much more because of her games.

The jury has left for today. No verdict (not surprising, even though everyone wants fast verdicts, they are rare especially in a DP case)

It is amazing how KN when talking about TA he referred to him as a man, but when speaking about JA he referred to her as a girl, to guilt the jurors in thinking she was so young, when she was actually 27 y.o., to me old enough to know better.

Hi Maryann!! It's all about slight of the hand/verbiage....Nurmi isn't that good.....can you imagine a juror listening to him ad nosium?? I as a juror would take offense to him.....

They deliberated a little over 3 hrs today, will return tomorrow & no deliberations on Friday. The stations will break in when there is a verdict, at least here in Arizona.

Does anyone know when the verdict comes down, if Jodi will be sent to the Perryville Prison straight from the courtroom or will the judge sentence her with the jury's recommendation in a month or so?

Just heard on HLN that it is majority ladies....and they brought in a lot of food and a crockpot! I see a cohesive jury.....come on a crockpot??? Hilarious!
