Many would say the product (dairy) is far much 'healthier harming'

But if this alarmist approach is what it takes for people to

stop consuming dairy, then more power to stop producing dairy.

@sidsmom Which proves that it doesn't matter if "information" is factual or not if it serves the purpose some want it to serve.  For them it is about getting the result they want, not what is true and not true.

?

Who is 'some', 'them' and 'they'?

Sorry, my tin hat is at the dry cleaners.

@ann1989...I guess you missed this summer's Fairlife animal abuse scandal--or you don't care.

See? We ALL pick and choose.

@Moonlady This is the first I've heard of this.  I will look it up.

@sidsmomHow can I stop dairy??  I just discovered Fairlife brand and it is really delicious.  They're in Dexter NM and use a different source of water than Clovis.  But even before discovering that brand of milk I have had a serious attachment to Tillamook Cheddar cheese.  I have strong bones.  Doesn't that account for something???

'Strong bones' as a result of drinking milk is a nutritional myth.

Something our government pushed way back in the early 1900's.

Then add clever Multi-Million-dollar advertising campaigns of

today, it's not only milk/cheese but $$Supplements...

which are useless, as well.

What about cheese?

One doctor compares cheese to Vaseline since it's so high in fat.

No.....We don't need to drink secretions from other animal.

@sidsmom

If one reads your posts they would assume anyone who doesn't subscribe to your food choices has high cholesterol and is overweight  But that is not the case. Many professional athletes consume dairy (cottage cheese) and take supplements (usana brand)

I am not overweight and I do not have high cholesterol.  Your dietary requirements are not the same as anyone elses.

People have been drinking cows milk for thousands of years and despite the variety out in market now that include almond milk, soy milk etc worldwide, the consumption of cows milk increases every year.  I personally didn't drink milk until I saw the ads for Fairlife as they remove the lactose.  I have no ill affects from it yet did when I tried the Lactaid brand.

Also a person could not consume enough plant based food each day to meet all of the requirements for a healthy body to fight off illness and disease going forward. I eat balanced meals each day and include vit c and a multiple vitamin supplement.

I do not consider Andrew Lessman to be a liar nor do I believe that Andrew Lessman peddles falsehoods for money as you have stated.  .

@ann1989

"I have no ill affects (sic)"

Don't you see the issue with this?
If you have ill effects, that's your body SCREAMING that it doesn't

need it!  I'm stunned we are so disconnected with our body & food.

Unfortunately dairy is FILLED with hormones.

And not 'added' hormones.

Just the natural animals of bovine has hormones which are not good

for humans.

Any animal product/byproduct will cause inflammation and turn on

cancer cells. Doesn't matter what your biomarkers are...

that inflammation and gene mutation is there.

I didn't mention my way of eating but yes, you can get PLENTY of

calcium on a plant based diet...all very inexpensive, better for health,

better for the environment & without harming another sentient being.

Just the fact one can EAT their vitamins/minerals automatically

places vitamin supplements as an un-needed item. If one has

such as 'balanced diet', why supplement?

And BTW... milk consumption is decreasing.
It's not my opinion...it's fact. Many dairy farms are going bankrupt

due to the decreased need. We've written many posts about that

here on this forum.

I just watched a video about dairy.

They talked about dairy being racist. Yes, shocking but....

if 65% of the entire population..and certain cultures of people

are lactose intolerant, why is our government constantly

promoting a 'food pyramid' food that is harmful to many?

It was an interesting take, but powerful.  Why do they?

Dairy is harmful on so many different levels.  And even the most

Paleo of Paleo People will remove that food immediately.

It serves no one...and harms our body.
Absolutely zero need to consume secretions from another animal.
