I don't think I got the email from Synchrony for the QVC card but I have for all my other Synchrony accouns. So far I still receive paper QYC bills without the extra fee added. I pay all my bills on line but I like to receive a papr bill as a reminder. Otherwise if they come electronially I have to print them out so I won't forget or if I am ever incapacitated I would like my family members to see what bills come in the mail as they wouldn't have access to my computer.

A lot of banks, utilities, and companies charge for paper statements and have for years.

I signed up for online statements, online payments/auto pay maaaaany years ago. I don't need account numbers or personal info floating around on paper.

I received the info from Synchrony in the mail the other day. I went online and changed to paperless billing to avoid the $1.99 fee on my QCard. The 34% interest rate doesn't affect me because I pay off my balances each month, but I think that rate is ridiculous.

When I finished requesting paperless billing for my QCard, I noticed 2 other store cards I have pop up that are also with Synchrony. Looks like my request to go paperless for the QCard will also apply for the other two.

My plan is to stop using these 3 cards completely. I just don't need all these cards anymore. I am going to use my VISA credit card that I can pay in a local bank branch for most of my purchases.

That bank has all the credit cards under their hat.

I also canceled my QVC card today. I was just going to notify them that I would go paperless but the representative told me I would need to go online to do so. I didn't want to do that. I realize canceling a credit card works against you but I feel like it will be one less thing to be bothered with.

I've done all my bill paying online for years and years but I still like getting a paper bill just as a backup reminder. I don't think anyone I get bills from charges me for a paper statement.
