are the HSN boards still up and running?

can everyone just "meet" over there?

i am already an active member of the official qvc fb group and a member of several other qvc fb groups, but they are not like having these forums for talking about OTHER things in our lives.

@sunshine45

I'm hoping to read a post where someone suggests another place where we can all post. I'm clueless as to what's out there.

It would be nice, before the board is gone, if they would let people post email addresses for those of us who would like to keep in touch.  Not holding my breath, but it would be the decent thing to do for those of us who have no interest in going back to Facebook.   Facebook is NOT the same thing as a board.

If anyone wants to start a QVC or home shopping Reddit, and would be willing to moderate it properly, I would join it. You can have anonymity on Reddit, and if you stick to the well-moderated subreddits (which are similar to topical forums), it's fairly safe.

@Porcelain

This is exactly the kind of suggestion I was hoping to read.  I take care of a bedridden family member 24/7, so my dance card is full, but I'd sure join this if someone were willing to moderate.

This is terrible news. I don't use Facebook.

What if QVC gave the Forums an item number and charged $2.00 a month for access?

How many people do you think would sign up?

I was thinking along the same lines, @chickenbutt.  Not sure how that would work though.

I would join another board, as long as it's not the type of thing from a number of years ago where people started boards to rag on other posters in private, while they were being friendly to their 'faces'.

I don't know anything about Reddit.  Would it be like a board, with forums, etc, or is it just like Facebook type thing with a string of posts?

I'm definitely not,going on the blog. I guess they've had it with too many negative posts. 😒

Well. it's been an interesting 34-year run on this board.  Best of luck to everyone.

I don't think I would make a good moderator in practice. I'd be too heavy handed and biased.

Will be a good time to end my patronage of QVC when this happens
