Yes. I don't actually know any young people, but I have felt that they moved on from Facebook a while ago, from things I've read and heard.

I don't think having a Facebook page is going to draw them in.

@kaydee50 Thanks for the information! This makes me sad. I learned so much from these Forums. I already registered a complaint with QVC, not that that will help. I don't do FB, so that's that. I wonder if QVC realizes how many people are inspired to buy products because of these forums.

I will miss all the forums and the information shared. There seem to be a significant number of members here who don’t belong to Facebook, including me. As others have mentioned, I’ve learned about and purchased items from QVC based on posts here. It’s truly unfortunate they’re shutting down.

can everyone just "meet" over there?

i am already an active member of the official qvc fb group and a member of several other qvc fb groups, but they are not like having these forums for talking about OTHER things in our lives.

These forums are the only social media I actively participate in and I’ve significantly increased my commenting since the pandemic started. I’ll miss reading and responding to everyone’s posts. On the other hand, it hasn’t been the same since so many interesting topics are no longer allowed.

If anyone wants to start a QVC or home shopping Reddit, and would be willing to moderate it properly, I would join it. You can have anonymity on Reddit, and if you stick to the well-moderated subreddits (which are similar to topical forums), it's fairly safe.

here is the page with the announcement in case anyone cannot find it. the page also contains links to the four OFFICIAL qvc facebook groups. there are also a number of unofficial qvc facebook groups if you do a search on fb.

Well, I am offline with several and have been for years even some who do not post here anymore.

There are 3 I wish I could connect with and they indicated the same but it doesn't look like that will happen although there is one way to reach me.
I just cannot say how, sadly.

Type Blog in the search bar and you will see the infomation. The blogs and forums are going away November 2nd.
