That's sad when people take advantage of others like that. When we had the ice storm in 2009 all the hotels in my area did the exact same thing. They where reported.

You can do return, they will take it back since it is defective.

Good!  I bought a box of disposable gloves at a reasonable price yesterday.  When I had checked on the gloves a few days ago, the prices were out of line.

Oh no!  Not disposable gloves.  Gardening season is upcoming and I need those.  Plus, I use them when coloring my hair.

they come in hair dye boxes

True, but some people (me, for instance) use only half a box at a time. The gloves that come with it are used the first time, but other gloves are needed for the second half.

@ms traditional

Amazon has just entered "the doghouse" with me. 😡

They blocked my number after I requested call-back from customer service.

Add to this the fact that they will charge me $10 to return some poorly designed Sterilite plastic storage items ($45 a set and this is price gouging).

To return these to an Amazon locker ($0) they have chosen to allow a locker location way far away for me.

This has never happened before!

I am an Amazon Smile (contribute to Hemophilia Assoc. so Amazon gets a tax break) and an Amazon Prime member.

Not a happy camper.

I brought a box of 150  gloves at Walgreens Wed. and it cost me 9.49. It was the last box on the shelve.  Could not find purely or alcohol, but have enough hand wipes for now.  In normal times, I always buy extra and have always carried wipes in purse, car and home.

What worries me is I have to go to DMV for driver,s test in a month and that place is always packed.

I heard that they will allow renewals online due to pandemic.

Why didn't you call them?  confused.gif

     I call Amazon every time I have had an issue.  They have always fixed the issue.  Do have to hold on the phone for a while sometimes though...especially now with current item status.

Let's see the virus started back in January and its early April...so Bezos allowed price gouging to go on this long!!!  I wouldnt be giving him any type of an award........Woman Frustrated

And you notice he just SUSPENDED these vendors, they weren't cut off for good like they should be!!! Woman Mad

Dont report price gouging to Amazon...report it to your State Attorney General's Office this is a law violation and needs serious attention!!!! Don't let Amazon and these vendors get away with it!!!

I bought the Lysol in the brown bottle from Amazon, said to kill coronavirus.  I can't remove the lid.  The lid is made for amother type bottle.  I have sent them emails and feedback, to no avail.  Perhaps that is a bottle of price gouging that I paid for and will not get my money refunded.

@Nonametoday

You can try contacting Amazon but good luck....one of their vendors advertised and even pictured a named brand item and what I got was a cheap piece of junk not the named brand item ...and I reported the vendor to Amazon and to this day he's STILL SELLING on Amazon!

I am happy to read this. I saw several prices on water and hand sanitizers the other day that were grossly marked up, and wondered why Amazon had not addressed it. I did not think to report it, but am glad other customers had the wherewithal to. I purchased some household essentials this afternoon, and the prices were down by a few cents on several items.
