Good morning. Does anyone have a current customer service email address for Amazon? They are not very forthcoming with giving this out and I have had no luck in getting them on the phone It is always busy Thanks

I've been unsuccessful in trying to find an email address for Amazon so I use their chat feature and though it may be tedious depending on which representative you are assigned to, I've had my issues resolved quickly this way.

@gellen , I feel your pain.  Sometimes they are a devil to contact.  I had great difficulty over the holiday season.

@gellen  ... I have always used their chat feature with much success.  I have never been able to find a phone number or email address for them.

      I never email them, I always call.    Just this last week, I could not get into my account, which I have had since 1999.   Found their 800 number for Canada and the US in their Customer Service area at bottom of home page.

      I called, they answered within a minute and the representative Angie worked with me for 45 minutes to solve my problem.    She was kind, respectful, patient and very knowledgeable.

      I always call in the evening, when they are not so busy.......this time I called at 10 pm.    I do that with any companies that are open later than 5.  😀    I have found Amazon to be a very easy and friendly company to deal with, whenever I have an issue.

@gellen

Not sure why you can't reach them on the phone. I have called their Customer Service many times over many years. I have never gotten a busy signal. Put "on hold", yes.

I have had times where 1 of their options is "to call you back". You leave your phone number, they tell you approximately how many minutes, and they have always called me back.

If you consider being "put on hold", a "busy signal"? I have nothing to say about that issue. But reaching Amazon by telephone has never, ever been a problem for me over many, many years of calling them.

If you are getting an actual "connection Busy Signal"? My guess is you are not calling the correct telephone number.

By difficult, do you mean being put "on hold"? With what's been going on since our gift last March, busy for Amazon, is putting it mildly. Around the holidays, of course, I would expect them to be busier.

Being put on hold for a couple hours is nothing new to me, but never from Amazon. Most people are locked in place compared to a year ago. Many say they have nothing to do, so I would think waiting "online" would not be "a pain".

Guess I'll go back to, what I believe to be my genetics, and say "patience is a virtue", and maybe I was born with it.

@Boehm Collector

I found their telephone number many years ago under their "contact us". Is it no longer found there? If not, next chat, ask them for it.

Re: Amazon email address

[ Edited ]

I agree @Latonya  with you on chatting live but it takes some doing to actually get to someone. They have a lot of hoops it seems to get to them. I've talked to them on the phone too, they were (and are) helpful at least and you CAN get the job done eventually.

I will say though for the few returns I may have, I do not at all like their return process. I will always take my returns to the UPS myself with label but I also always need to contact CS in order to get them to email me the return UPS label. This is not longer a choice and I won't use any of their other return choices especially to kohls.
