Before the virus, I had no problem getting someone on the phone, but now, amazon isn't taking phone calls.

Speaking of amazon, if anyone receives a phone recorded message that your account has been breached, do not press 1, if you do, you will meet a scammer.  Call amazon if you happen to press 1.

Does that thing still work where you punch in your ph# and they immediately call you?

I've used that several times, over the years, usually with great success.  Last time, however, I got somebody in another country who, while he was very nice, he just read off a script and, well, flat out lied.

He said that the parcel that UPS had as 'out for delivery' for a couple of days but never anything after that, was set to be delivered the next day, so just wait for it and let them know if it isn't.

Shortly after I hung up the phone, one of my neighbors showed up with the parcel that had been delivered to his house the night before.   I felt bad mostly because it was a big, heavy (30# dog food and about 10# more of other stuff) box that he had to carry to my house.  He's older than I but, fortunately, he's still a lot stronger.  I could never have carried it anywhere near that far.  When I get these I slide them inside the foyer onto a folded long-ways moving blanket so I can take the end of the blanket and pull it through the house.  Works great!  Smiley Happy
