I bought a pair of jeans from Amazon Prime yesterday.  I washed them before wearing them last night.  They fit perfect and by the end of the night I had to keep pulling them up they got so big.

I bought my normal size in this brand.  So I felt comfortable buying jeans from Amazon because I was pretty sure they would fit. They did for a while!  LOL

Can I wash them and send them back after wearing?  I know you can here at the Q, but I don't know about Amazon.

I do have the cardboard (label) thing I pulled off the jeans but not the tape I peeled of that told the size.

I really can't afford to donate a brand new pair of jeans.  Would you try sending them back?  I feel guilty because they won't be able to sell them since they were washed.

BTW, I rarely have to send anything back and I buy a lot!

You need to go on the Amazon website to check.  Many of the vendors are different.  There is no way to know your answer without knowing everything about your order.  If you put the item number, mayber someone can look it up.

I don't think Amazon has item numbers and if I provide a link to the jeans it will most likey get deleted.

I did just now go read return policy.  It says free returns, but must be in new condition.  Well, these aren't in new condition(washed), but I would not know they were going to "grow" unless I wore them.  When I go to my orders, there is a link for "return item".

I guess I'll try returning and see what happens.  I will have to wait until tomorrow because I don't have a printer here at home.  Thanks!

@mimaLots of jeans grow, but if they grew so much they're unwearable, I'd call them defective and that's what I'd tell Amazon.

Amazon is the easiest company to deal with and especially easy to return if you are unhappy. Just contact the seller, explain your situation and they'll be happy to send you all the return info needed to send your pants back. I only with all on-line companies were as easy as Amazon is.

Were they by any chance Not Your Daughters Jeans?  Just curious.

@millieshops  Yes, they grew a lot where I had to keep pulling them up. I only wore them a total of 3 hours.  LOL

@ID2  Thanks.  I am going to send them back, or at least try.

 Thank you for your replies.

@K9buddy  No, they were Lee Relaxed jeans for women.  I have bought them before and they didn't do this at all.  In fact, those are my favorite jeans (usually).  I know relaxed indicates comfy, but I wouldn't be able to keep these up if I wore them all day. LOL

I'm having the same problem with jeans I just bought from Loft.  I have washed them and thrown all info away.  I'm probably going to have them altered.

Amazon has superb customer service. My son bought some running shoes. They gave him blisters. Soles were dirty, tried to clean them up as much as possible. Amazon said "no problem, send them back".

I don't think you would have a problem.
