I just got my membership bill and it was $106.90.   Last April I paid $106.90.  There was NO increase.   I looked on Prime and it says I pay 99.00 so the rest must be CA state tax.

@esmeraldagooch  It starts in May.

Customers of Amazon Prime just had a price increase the 1st of February 2018.  So, three short months later, we're getting another increase?!

I save money with Amazon Prime, but I'm feeling like Amazon may be taking advantage of its Prime members.  I would think the very least Amazon could do is refrain from increasing prices for one year after a previous increase!

What was the increase in February?  According to the website it's still $99.  There has always been tax added onto that.  The price increase is in May.

Re: Amazon Prime Price Increase

We will be staying with Amazon Prime too. Even with a price increase it will still be worthwhile to purchase from Amazon for the savings alone. Not to mention the variety of what they offer.

@NickNack  I guess I have a reprieve untill next year.   I think the $99.00 is a bargain anyway.  I get much more from my membership than I pay.  I order a lot and get free shipping, watch Amazon prime and use the upload for my photos.

It's getting to the point that Amazon can charge whatever they want.  They're taking over.

Re: Amazon Prime Price Increase

Our membership renews in May for $99, so next year we'll get the increase.  It is still the best deal anywhere (for us) with Prime Video especially.

Re: Amazon Prime Price Increase

I don't like the increase, but it is still a good deal for us. Living out in the sticks near a small town, we have very little shopping within 75 miles. If you half someone you can trust, you can split the cost with them by entering their name and credit card info. on the site. The directions are on the Prime site. The only drawback is that they can see your credit card, and you can see theirs. However, they still have acess to all the Prime perks, and what they purchase is kept confidential.

Re: Amazon Prime Price Increase

My membership renews in early June, so it looks like I'll squeak out another year at $99.

Re: Amazon Prime Price Increase

Even at $119 ... it's a savings for me over paying individual shipment costs.

I generally order from Amazon at least once a week.
