Re: Amazon Blocks Sellers From Using FedEx For Prime Deliveries

@mousiegirl Yes WalMart's cs is very good.  Last year when my husband was home under hospice care I ordered a tub chair for him from there.  Just one.  Well, they sent a carton of 4.  Called them and they said keep them and find homes for them, no charge to me.  I gave them to the hospice people to give to those that needed one.

I don't know how much this really affects FedEX since back in August FedEx ended their ground delivery contract Amazon.

"FedEx is pulling the plug on Amazon deliveries, effectively ending domestic ties with the largest U.S. retailer, the company said on Wednesday.

Shipping company officials said the company would not renew its ground delivery contract with Amazon when it expires at the end of August and would focus on business from other retailers. The move comes as Amazon steps up efforts to build up its own delivery fleet, and, in doing so, is increasingly becoming a competitor to its former shipper."

The only deliveries from Amazon that I have problems with is Amazon. The other might the Amazon driver was delivering my package to my neighbor. Too long to explain, but I was outside in the cold and he said "my GPS told me to deliver it to this house(my neighbor)" with a different address.

He even asked me if I was "Craig", who is that neighbor. Figure that one out! This is not the 1st problem I have had with Amazon delivery and I doubt it will be the last. Now if the choice were mine? UPS hands down!

Re: Amazon Blocks Sellers From Using FedEx For Prime Deliveries

My FedEx service has been horrible for months. I've had packages just sit for days at a location.

I have a pending overnight delivery that should have been delivered two days ago. I finally chose the option to have it delivered to our local Safeway store, because it's a $500 item and I can't sit home everyday waiting for it.

I shudder when I see a package has been sent by way of FedEx. The UPS to USPS transfer has become much more reliable.

"I've been here since October 2006. Wow!"

Guess I’m lucky...all packages have been delivered on time and in good condition. This includes USPS, UPS, FedEx and Amazon. I shopped Walmart, Macy’s, Zappos, Target, Bare Minerals, and Amazon. I did not order gifts from the Q as their “in process” nonsense can last for days on end. I have checked the program guide and items offered, and nothing was worth spinning the shipping wheel of misfortune.

Re: Amazon Blocks Sellers From Using FedEx For Prime Deliveries

I will never again use FedEx if I have any choice.  They lost my 2 passports and 2 visas (for two weeks, shortly before my China trip) and then again they didn't deliver my closing documents (just before Christmas last year).  These two botched deliveries really made me put the kabash on FedEx!
