Both HSN and Evine have been showing "previously recorded" shows during the night for quite awhile.  Not surprised that QVC would follow.

I noticed that too and wondered if Q isn't doing this to save a little extra cash for their bottom line.

I thought maybe it was because of the superbowl show.

I was pleasantly surprised.  I missed a few segments of a couple of the shows and was happy that I was able to watch what I missed.  I'm thinking that it could occasionally be a good idea, especially if the pre-recorded shows are fashions or particularly popular TSV(s).

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Well, that's a first for Qvc.  They always boasted about being live 24/7 with no pre-recorded shows.  It seems like those days are over.  Not that it matters at all.  Shoppers don't care, we only want to see the merchandise.

I care.  I don't watch any late night shows on channels like Evine because they're repeats.  I live on the west coast, so the reruns start in the evening.

@Caaareful Shopper  Some of us have been suggesting they go to pre-recorded shows because so many times the presentations seem like infomercials and we're turning to other channels. I hope they start doing that during the day, too. I see no reason to have 3 or 4 two hour each Josie Maran shows (for example). The products are all the same.
