No more special than any of the rest of us who also enjoy Freedom of Speech in this country. ![]()

Fwiw I had a Lyft driver last year who worked in movies and on Broadway for 20 plus years. She told me things about Alec Baldwin that weren't at all surprising to me.
As far as the more general topic, and not talking about defending pedophiles at all -it's not the "rest of the country" that disagrees with them on other topics. Too broad there.
LOL - yes, a Lyft driver would be an excellent source of the truth and insider information! (I have a bridge I want to sell, if anyone's interested.)

If think all Hollywood stars are nuts. They live in a bubble and think rules don't apply to them. They are a bunch of overpaid people that do nothing to change the world. Policemen, firefighters, doctors and nurses should be making the kind of money these clowns make because they actually save lives. These bozo's act like their jobs are so taxing and their lives are so difficult. I could care less what they feel or what their opinions are. I agree, Alex Baldwin is a big mouth a**.

One almost has to laugh at the energy some people put forth to post hate about people they don't know and who have absolutely little to no power to change anything really important in the world. The last time I checked, Hollywood was not a seat of power for anything other than entertainment and we are all still entitled to freedom of speech, even if some of it is drivel...or not.

One person whose views without a doubt are of no interest to me and would do nothing to sway me, except possibly in the other direction. I cannot abide the man, regardless of his points of view, on whatever he's posturing about at any given point in time. He's a blow hard.

This thread is getting tiresome!
Is Diane Keaton going to have a thread as well since she tweeted her support for Woody Allen also? Or is Alec Baldwin special because so many posters don't like him and just need any excuse to blame him for the world's problems?

I’m not a celeb follower. They are entitled to their opinions. I’m just too busy to worry about them.
if you know they’re going to talk about upsetting topics at awards shows, don’t watch. At least with Hollywood actors, you can turn them off, stop going to movies and stop letting them affect you.
Sadly, that’s not the case in every aspect of our lives.

@LindaSal I don't understand this. Why is there the assumption that Hollywood thinks they know better than everyone else? Who ever said that? They just have their own opinion, like everyone else. Doesn't each person on the planet think their opinion is the right one? Why should anyone, regardless of what they do for a living, relinquish their right to an opinion??? They just have the platform to voice it.
I don't agree with my next door neighbor's opinion and I see it every stinking day because of their lawn sign. You just don't see them on TV all the time.
Thank you ..... people post their opinions on here (myself included) but have a hissy fit when well known people voice their opinions ... make any sense to you?
I have no idea what the OP is referring to .... you'd think people would start a thread and be sure to include where they read or saw what they are referring to! Grrrr

No reason upsetting yourself. Here's a suggestion. Given the fact more than several occasions have made it clear that my comments are extremely irritating to you! Stop opening my threads. Problem solved!
