I personally believe it was the right decision from just the info we did have.
What I do know for a fact is that Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins was killed and director Joel Souza was injured. This is what's truely sad and "unjust"in this situation.
He has been indicted not convicted.

What I would like to know is why would Baldwin have the gun pointed at the Cinematographer when he pulled the trigger?
In reply to others who have stated that it wasn't the responsibility of Baldwin to check the gun beforehand, I have read otherwise in that there are stringent gun regulations on movie sets and that the guns are...(should be)... checked by all involved, including the Actors.
It is also questionable as to how a live bullet ended up in the gun to begin with if there are such stringent gun regulations?

@Sassycoco LOL, I got a little chuckle when someone asked what does an affair have to do with manslaughter. Duh! Don't you watch the ID channel. ![]()

Fear thy neighbor will make you not want to ever speak to your neighbors. :-)

I KNOW!!! Anytime our neighbor does something a little annoying my husband and I agree not to say anything (jokingly). The Fear Thy Neighbor is crazy. We watch it and constantly say "just ignore it, don't say anything".

What is your opinion of this?
I read an AOL article about his indictment just now.
It seems to me that there is more involved here. Something having to do with maybe an affair or like that. But we don't have any information on the personal circumstances.
Nor will we maybe until a long time from now.
@LTT1. The district attorney in Santa Fe is so incompetent that I doubt she could prove guilt I'd she had a signed confession. I doubt Alec is too worried.

Any of us who aim a real gun capable of having live ammunition in it and point it at someone and fire, we would be responsible.
When you talk about gun safety, it's about education and not treating a weapon as harmless UNLESS you have yourself verified it.
That to me is a fact and not a discussion. And the law.
