A grand jury in Santa Fe today indicted actor Alec Baldwin on a charge of involuntary manslaughter in the death of the cinematographer on the Rust movie set.

I thought all of this was behind us...they just will not give up. As I recall, a majority of folks on this forum were very much "against" Alec Baldwin. I am totally on his side on this and do not believe he should be charged with anything....Let the fireworks begin, so to speak.

What is your opinion of this?
I read an AOL article about his indictment just now.
It seems to me that there is more involved here. Something having to do with maybe an affair or like that. But we don't have any information on the personal circumstances.
Nor will we maybe until a long time from now.

@LTT1 .. what does an affair have to do with a charge of involuntary manslaughter?

Wonder if they ever did or will uncover as to why there were live rounds in that gun. Bet he wishes he hadn't done so many interviews and made so many statements abt the incident . Also, thought all was done with this case since the family received some monetary settlement .
News reports said there were videos of him firing the gun which lead to this indictment .

Complete waste of time and money. The person responsible for the props is the prop master, not the actor. Period. End of story.
Sorry she's not going to get a prosecutor in front of tv cameras and embellish a lawyer's career like Alec will, but that's who you hang.
Should have been done way before now if it hasn't already.

Why would any actor in a movie be responsible for checking out the props? Why was there even a real gun there? In hindsight sure he should have but wasn't his job. He should have apologized and offered his condolences to the family and kept quiet. The persons in charge should be indicted.
