I always thought that SF and DW were way over the top on food shows. I think AP tops them. I no longer watch any of the food shows. The hosts, for the most part, seem to act line they've never eaten before. No thanks. I'll continue to buy locally.

Really???? The cakes they were selling during the presentation were moldy and they actually worked that into their presentation? Did they tell viewers, these are moldy.....but your's will be fresh and edible?

@chrystaltree ... the moldy cakes were disgusting... Jimmy saw the mold when he cut the cake open & he quickly covered it up by pushing it aside & going to another cake .... I ordered from him & his cakes are delicious but, the way they are packaged is horrible ... the cakes are stuffed in small cardboard boxes with practically no taping on the box & by the time it gets to you the box is open & the cakes are squashed .... I even called his business in Brooklyn NY & complained .... I never ordered again.

AP and RB together in a food show....that truly is a train wreck! I deliberately did not watch because of AP, cannot stand his demeanor/behavior, not a fan! Dislike RB with her hands all over, like a child who has to touch everything!

@ScarletDove I try not to be judgy about the food shows because I know they have to eat with excessive gusto in order to sell those food items. I do understand that, it doesn't bother me.

But what stood out to me about your post was RB's hands. She always points directly to the point of nearly touching each food, plate, bite or piece as if she is teaching children exactly where to look all the time. She pokes her finger into each & every camera shot -- why is that necessary? The camera has already zoomed in; it's so claustrophobic. Sometimes it seems like the vendor wants to swipe her finger out of the shot. I know it's a little thing, but I cannot tolerate it, so I don't anymore.

@Jinlei I agree....I can't watch either one of them no matter what they are selling.

i guess im the oddball here as i adore both Alberti and Rachel. they seem like such kind and warm people and manage to always make me laugh. He does get excited over food, but I love that about him. I watch anytime they are on and get excited to see them. Almost like Kim Gravel. I adore her and record every show she does just because i enjoy watching her. Uplifting personalities and enjoy them very much

@ weeks ago, on the Gourmet Holiday, I saw him lick his fingers and then go back into tthe food. GROSS When they had crab not long ago, he took his fork, dumped into butter, stuck it in his mouth and the took his fork again and dipped back into the butter bowl. Alberti need to have some ettiquette lessons. This has to turn customers off. Do something abut this
