@sue bee, although I have other books, thanks for putting the number up. I didn't know the Q sold these, so thank you for that. I have similar books and these look very good too.

I'm like a lot of you as far as the very intricate designs.  I find them overwhelming.  I don't enjoy it.

I like say a hot air balloon with designs, but not the entire page over and over.

These things (some of them are crazy with all that's going on).  I take one look and put the thing down.

I agree with you.

I feel the same way about the intricate designs. I ordered the 4 pack of coloring books w/pencils from evine a few months ago. I'm going to one book consistently because the designs in the other 3 are just too "fussy" for me to even attempt to color. The point of coloring is to relax, not stress out over it.

Just wanted to add this. I have some Gooseberry Patch cookbooks and they have some neat drawings in them, so I'll grab up the pencils and put color in the books (since they are b & w) and I can just see the colors they should be. I don't have to wear my hands out coloring or do it if I don't want to. It just yelled color me.!!!!

That's a good idea.  I have quite a few cookbooks with great black and white line illustrations.

I might try coloring some and see what it adds to the cookbooks.

I lose myself in them.  I don,t worry about matching colors.  It takes me out of my head of thinking all the time.  I use fine tip pens for outlines and the pencils the Q sent with books for lighter shading.  Sent a beautiful Valentines card of color took me two weeks to do.  It was a big heart with Butterflies and made up my own poem.

If I read or watch TV, I get sleepy, but not coloring.  Took it to the shop and while my hair being colored, so did I, then to Dr. Office.  I don,t mine the small stuff.

Daisy, sorry you were treated so poorly.

We went into staples for our son and my DH noticed that they sell coloring books. I got Enchanted forest it's awesome. There's hidden animals, castles, tree houses, Dragonflies and much much more. I also ordered a set of colored pencils 50 for $13.99.
