I have a hang up about clothes. If I find a top I love I buy at least three of them. Pants at least three of them. Under wear, three of them. The oddest thing I do is match my under wear to my tops in color categories. Can we OCD! 😁

Not exactly an addiction but I have a small stash of new socks, bras and panties on the ready

that's just practical - one day it fits and the next elastic gone

of course everyone needs TP - I buy a large pack and when I'm down to  6 rolls - time for a new pack

I always bought Kirkland toilet paper - until a year or two ago - when they changed the paper and many people complained on their site. So - now - I'm trying different brands and I always try to figure out which brand is the cheapest. Have u ever looked at the plastic wrapper where it tells u how many sheets, how many feet, etc. You need to be a mathematician.

I knew I wasn’t crazy! I thought Costco changed their TP. I’ve been buying in for years. I remember when there used to be 36 rolls in a pack.  I’m guessing all the complaining fell on deaf ears

Such a fun and informative thread!

Really cutting back on spending over the past couple of years.Stopped buying shoes and sandals and just donated several pairs yesterday. I  have enough to last for the next many, many years.

I have "collected" many items over the years. I am over most and sold/ donated so many during the past year with downsizing, but do not think I will ever stop collecting handbags- Dooneys in particular. Have purchased 3 patent leather bags just this year because I love them and generally can only find what I want in the spring.

The only thing I buy too much of is skin care and products. Scaling this back though Smiley Happy

I was just reading about sharke’s addiction to jackets and realizing that I have an addiction to purchasing vacuum cleaners. I have 12 of them. Some corded and some cordless.

Does anyone else have a purchasing addiction?

@K9buddy  I understand about vacuums....I have 4.  I always want another new one. I totally get you!🙂

My latest is an Bissell Airram from HSN.  It's cordless.  It's my new favorite!

LOL!!!  The eyes are fine!  I did order new eye glasses though.  😎

Now the real challenge will be when I have to go back and pick up those new glasses.  After I leave that store, I will just have to keep repeating to myself "Do not turn left!  Do not turn left!  Do not turn left!"

Books!  I love buying books, I have several book shelves filled with books to read!  I have always loved reading since a young age and enjoy going to book stores.  While it is an addiction, for me it is a worthwhile one because reading relaxes me and brings enjoyment.

I am the same, @spiderw . But I read them all, and then donate those which I liked but not loved. I consider this a positive, not an addiction.

Now my aforementioned cookbook binge? That was an addiction.
