I live in an apartment in NYC with a typically small kitchen and small stove/oven.  I usually refer to it as "my Easy Bake oven."

@Bookplate When we lived in Brooklyn we had a 20 inch stove. When we moved to Westchester we graduated to a 24 inch stove. Finally last year renovated and graduated to a real 30 inch stove

@I am still oxox I am jealous!  Although I am pretty good at gauging what fits into a 20 incher by now.

I had one.  I think it was pink.  My brother used it more than I did.  He loved it

@I am still oxox Oh yes.  I have had some experiences roasting a turkey (14 lb max) and sides dishes that have been sitcom worthy.

I had an East Bake Oven long before 1979.  Mine was yellow and my poor dad ate everything I made.  It was in the early-mid 60's.

Re: ANYONE REMEMBER THIS ONE?

@Tinkrbl44 : Never had one. My BigMama had me helping her cook and bake at age 8.

I was in junior high school and friend purchased one for her neice. We opened it and played with it. Friends Mother and I experimented and tried to use the regular cake mix and brownie mix for the Easy Bake Oven because the mixes for the oven was expensive. We had fun but it was a big mess.

My Mother didn't purchase one because of the expensive mix.

Re: ANYONE REMEMBER THIS ONE?

Easy bake was first sold @1963My  ...kids had one later .    They were born 1967.  I was a baby boomer, and no such luxuries for me, lol. I did ask for and covet those Betty Crocker bake sets,  oh I loved them! They came with cake mixes, bisquits mix, and some sort of cookie mix lol. It had a bowl, spoons, measuring cups , bake pans.  The muffin pans were too cute !!   You have to bake in oven though.
