Maybe you should take a break from watching home shopping channels and weather reports, if you can't handle the descriptors.

@mjmm. The way everything in the world has been the last few years, I can't think of a better descriptor than "crazy".

Using crazy to describe things such as a good price or good deal or horrible weather event. Kalee Adam and Curtis do that a lot on HSN. Martha Stewart started it with everything is "great". The sheets are great towels are great on and on. And Colleen at hsn every item of clothing is "cute little".
It's a shopping network. The buzz words change, eventually.
Personally, I'll take crazy over awesome ... or amazing ... any day of the week.

You can say THAT again. I woke up to the Palm Springs bombing AND the NY bridge disaster....(not to mention the "war stuff"). di

Heck, I've been saying Crazy since I was a teen-ager. (a looooong time ago). Only we added the word Man! Crazy, Man! It's been replaced with Cool I think.

You can't control words other people use but you can control how you react to them.
Some ideas.....
Accept what-is instead of expecrting them to say or do what you want.
They'll come up with a new word soon enough and people will get tired of it after a while too.
It might be worth not watching for a while.

How about just allowing @mjmm to vent. She doesn’t need advice on what to watch or how much to watch. I’m sure she can figure all of that out. Just let her vent!

I would prefer specific adjectives to describe products instead of any of the overused general descriptors.
