ANYONE BUY FROM ROSELINLIN?

[ Edited ]

I think I found a company that may not be a real company.  I had been checking around for some tops to go with the 5 pairs of new pants I bought.  I never heard of this RoseLinLin but I liked the clothes they advertised.

I ordered 5 tops for a total $70 and received an e-mail advising the order was shipped June 18.  Well, here it is June 29, no delivery.  I have sent them 4 e-mails asking them to track my order.  Long story short, they keep sending the same generic e-mail again and again which tells me nothing.  I even asked them where they are located, no answer.

So, my question is, what would you do in a case like this?  I know there are several avenues I can take, I'm just wondering which is the first step.  Help please.

They are located in China which means that you'll have a bit of a wait for delivery. Looking up this company on google will tell you that they aren't reputable. I would contact your credit card company.

@JaneMarple

Thank you JaneMarple.   What really began to make me suspicious were the generic e-mails, never answered a question.  Number one on my list is to contact my bank and The Better Business Bureau.  Just another headache to deal with.

@JaneMarple   Took your advice, checked them out on google, wow, they are a disgusting group of people who are scamming trustworthy innocent consumers.  I will as hard as I can through my bank fight to get my money back.  Thanks again for your suggestion.

@Lindsays Grandma I'm so sorry this is happening to you, it's disgusting how many of these scammers are out there.
They steal pictures from reputable sellers, post fake reviews, send junk that is a far cry from what the picture

shows, if they send anything at all, only refund a small fraction if anything. I learned the hard way, and never again.

you're on the right track reporting it immediately. Best of luck in getting it resolved.

eta.....I got my money back ....took quite a while for my banks fraud dept. to dispute it with the scam company but it was a happy ending.👏

@Azcowgirl ... From what you posted I gather you went through something like this.  It just infuriates me that people are so greedy that they hurt others while playing the scam game.  Now I have money tied up with nothing to show for it and who knows when, or if, I will get it back.  What a headache, to say the least.

Re: ANYONE BUY FROM ROSELINLIN?

There are several of these companies, Roselinen, Rosewe, Rosegal, and a few more that are all the same company and they are based in China. As several posters have said, they are not exactly a scam because you do get merchandise even though it's not what is pictured. I ordered a tshirt (the one with the black cat) from them. It came fairly quickly but even though I ordered a size larger than I usually wear, it was really, really small. It was made of some mystery fiber and when I tried it on, I immediately started itching. There were no labels listing fabric content or washing instructions. There is no return address and you can only contact the company by email. They do not give refunds; only merchandise credit. The shirt was only $12 so I just threw it out. @Lindsays Grandma, you may want to check your credit card statement for a foreign currency transaction fee also. Your package may be sitting in Customs due to where it's from. They are taking extra precautions with anything coming from China to make sure they aren't sending us any more "gifts", especially if the company is physically located in or near Wuhan.

These companies are not reputable. Buyers, beware!

Re: ANYONE BUY FROM ROSELINLIN?

@Lindsays Grandma  I hope you get your items or that your bank or credit card company can help you.  Please post what happens.  I see many pretty items from pop-ups when I am checking my email and always wonder how safe it is to order from those companies.  While I have never ordered, I do check out reviews and few are good.  You might want to do that the next time, even if you receive your order.

Those sites can be enticing.  There were a lot of them when masks were new.  I have even seen some on A that looked iffy.

Keep a good eye on whatever credit card you used.

Re: ANYONE BUY FROM ROSELINLIN?

Their incessant ads on my computer drive me crazy ... however, when I turn on my ad blocker I can't get the Q forums and a couple of other sites I like.   Wish I knew how to block just this scam ...
