Re: AMAZON JUST ROBBED OUR COMPANY

Ebay is even worse. I ordered some T-shirts and the vendor sent me T-shirtd that were 4 sizes too small. After going round-and-round with the vendor Ebay sided with the vendor and said that they shipped me the correct sized T-shirts. I had to get my CC company involved.

@ciao_bella.  Does this mean if something breaks because it's  defective, it can't be returned?

@Kachina624  If it breaks because it's defective, I'm sure it can be returned for a full refund.  As a matter of fact, on the form that you fill out when returning, there are several choices listed for the reason for the return and refund.  One of the choices is 'defective' and another choice is broken or missing parts.

@Puppy Lips

I know it has to sting. This happens all day every day thousands of times a day all over the world. That's probably one of the main reasons for price increases.

Re: AMAZON JUST ROBBED OUR COMPANY

I buy from Amazon.  I carefully research everything I buy and so far so good.  There were one or two times I had to return.... missing items... damaged items.... and sizing issues.  I am a Prime Member.  I expect my items to come as listed.  I have returned at Kohls.

I expect Amazon to send me products in good condition and if not.... I send them back.  I respect small business but I also wanted to be treated fairly and get what I pay for a pictured and as promised.

Never have prodblem with Amazon.  They want to make the  customer happy. I'm immediately refunded if I complain and return the item.  Amazon goes out of their way to please the customer.

In much of US culture now theft is fine if you can get by with it.  You deserve it, take it, why bother with the law is common.

Food pantries that used to be for the needy are now a gigantic business and food is there for the taking, no questions asked.  And every day truly needy people are robbed blind by the lazy and the criminals.

That's the way we roll now.  Take what you can snag, you deserve it.

Theft is nothing new, but there are more opportunities.  I worked in a grocery store way back when I was in college and every weekend, we'd have the police there carting someone off who was stealing hundreds of dollars worth of items (mostly expensive steaks and roasts).  My friends worked in clothing stores and they always had stories about what people would try to return to get a refund.  We will never catch up to the criminals which is sad.

@bonnielu. I agree with you. But in this case the buyer opened sealed products, stole parts from it and returned the rest as defective. They is NOT acceptable or responsible behaviour from a buyer. Amazon’s policy to always favor the buyer in essence stole money from our account. At what point is the buyer held accountable?

Without going into too much detail, here is the situtation.  Our company sells products on Amazon, all day, every day.  There is something that we sold for $130.00.  The Amazon customer received the product, opened it all up, and took out select items that he wanted, and then returned the rest to us.  We took photos and reported the situation to Amazon.  What we got back is now worthless to us because it was opened.  Amazon refunded the customer anyway, thus robbing us of $130.00.

This has happened before to us, but always on a much smaller scale.  Sometimes Amazon sides with us, sometimes not.

This really burns me up.  All I want to say is that some people really s u c k.

While it wouldn't surprise me if the customer did as you say, you don't have evidence. And neither does Amazon.

On the other hand, it's part of doing business. There are cheats and crooked people everywhere....those in business as well as shoppers. Neither is ok.

I feel for small companies that get taken like this because it does have a heavy impact them.

Find a new path, that was a $130 lesson.  Stinks.
