It does not take much to throw our body clocks out of whack, especially if you have a fairly ridgid routine.  Time change, the holidays, stress of the season all contribute to "losing" it.

This is one of the reasons I do not like this time of year.

You will be just fine just an inner clock disorientation.

I had to ask a coworker yesterday what day it was and I run the place. LOL

You are not alone!

And as for that other thing, I am a lightning rod lately but I have no problem calling it out and asking them to ignore me or be nicer. It helps if you're comfortable doing it. Don't ever let anyone especially a hurtful person who is just truly miserable in their own life take your joy away. Yes, you're that special. ♥️

Welcome to my world.   it's quite natural to have that happen.  when no schedule is going time runs amok!

@Highlands72  Thank you this post.  Last night I got a little worried because I kept forgetting what day it was. I do think it is because of Thanksgiving and all that goes along with it.

Since I retired I have make sure to check the calendar on the iPad each morning to get my bearings.  Of course that means every little thing has to be entered or it is all over.

@Highlands72

Yesterday, I thought Tuesday was Wednesday.

We usually have choir rehearsal on Wednesday night, but because of Thanksgiving on Thursday we switched to Tuesday night so people could be home on Wednesday night to prepare for Thankgiving on Thursday. Make sense? 😳

I have found that since I haven't been working, I am often confused on what day of the month it is.  Sometimes I am lost on what day of the week it is too.

I'm going back to work soon, so I should be back on track.  Lol.

So here is an innocuous post that should be free of controversy.

All day I have felt that it is Friday. I have felt the wrong day in the past, but today, I am repeatedly forgetting it is Tuesday, much more so than in the past. I have proceeded through the day doing things that I usually do on Fridays and forgetting to do things that must be done on Tuesdays (meeting a friend for lunch; putting out the recyclables, for instance).

I guess it is because work is over for the week and the kids are out of school until Monday, but that has happened in the past without this happening. Strange.

It's probably just holiday busy-ness, but your post is not "very unimportant."  If this out-of-sync experience happens again, please consider seeing a neurologist.  In the meantime, take a breath and enjoy Thanksgiving!
