Holiday weeks always mix things up. We’re checking for the mail on days it isn’t coming, trying to call people on days when they’re not working, etc.

@Highlands72...I appreciate your honesty. Most of the time when I post a comment on CC or AF, I offend someone, then end up apologizing. It gets old. I'm afraid to post on these boards anymore. Smiley Sad

@catwhisperer  Don’t be afraid. I don’t post here often anymore,  but when I do, someone always seems to take my comments in a way not intended.  We misunderstood posters need to carry on!

I'm sure to regret sharing this. For me, each day of the week has a feeling and a color. Tuesday, blue, feels differently than Thursday which is yellow. I don't have assigned tasks to days like laundry on Monday. I don't like schedules or appointments although work makes them necessary. Today felt like a Wednesday probably because of Thanksgiving.

You may be already aware of this, but it sounds as if you have a form of synesthesia.

Usually this manifests itself in mentally assigning colors to numbers and letters. It can extend to days, months, music notes, etc.

I have this. Not sure how common it is, but I have tried to explain it to people who thought I was nuts when I said the number 2 is blue, for example.

@Highlands72 If I assign it, it's not consciously, I just see a certain shade of the color. Some names have colors too. I didn't know it was mental affliction. Whatever it is, I like it. Do you?

Synesthesia is definitely not a conscious or intentional phenomenon; it just happens automatically somewhere in the brain.

I never think of it as an affliction, or in any negative sense. I always have had it and thought everyone did, until I was an adult and realized it wasn't as common as I thought.

I like it, too.

Oh heck...you guys are young amateurs.

Sometimes I not only NOT know what day of the week it is, but what month (a drawback of moving from MI to FL), or how old I am and even my name!  LOL
