75-76 day time in summer.  We do not use ot at night.  We open windows, turn on whole house fan until 4:30-5am.  Then close windows, shut off fan  when one of us get up to use restroom.

@handygal2  we are on budget billing as well for both electric and gas.  Our top floor has a heat pump which stays on 75 for both cooling and heat, main living area and ,lower level have one AC unit and gas heater. Electric bill in summer stays around 225.00 and budget gas bill is almost 83.00 per month. 

 

With our square footage budget billing works like a charm for us.

We keep it about 73 or 74. (Central air). Im glad its cooling down tonight here in PA and for the next days it will be in the 70s! The AC will finally be off (for now, its warming back up later next week).
