A/C temps: What’s Yours?

Sleeping...82? I’m sweating just thinking about that!

For me?

75 = home

72 = sleeping

74 for the entire apartment, day and night. After much trial and error, this is the temp that is most comfortable for us.

82 for sleeping??? Much too warm for me. If anything, I would keep it cooler at night.

I don’t care who says what. I keep it where I am comfortable. Husband hates ac and we are always arguing about it. I keep it on 74. He likes it on 75, I like it on 72. So to keep the peace, 74.

I have to watch he doesn’t shut it off completely.

78 or 79. I couldn’t sleep if it was set higher. My bedroom is the coolest room in the house...love that.

Retired--home all day; 79 day, 79 night. Have a small home and temp is comfortable. If it gets up into middle 90's I will put thermostat at 78 day; 79 night!

We keep ours at 74, day and night. The only time we change it is if we are going to be out all day long.

In the warmer months: daytime temp (when we are not home) is 72 degrees; the moment I get home from work until I get up the next morning: 67. Yes. I love, love a/c.

72 at night, 72-74 during the day if we are at home, 76 if away. Until the gov’t pays my electric bill, I will set the temp where we are comfortable. It has been well over triple digits here for over a week.....the low at night is between 85-91.....the a/c is our only indulgence. DH grew up in Canada. He would keep the temp at 65 year round if I would stand for it... no way!
