Re: 600 POUND LIFE JAMES' STORY

@chickenbutt  He solved his clothing problem by just not wearing any.  Just throw a sheet over him.  Problem solved.  (Yes, snark.)

Ha!  Well, there's that.  Smiley Happy   I have seen numerous shows of this nature where the super morbidly obese individual just didn't wear anything.  These were always the folks who were too far gone to be ambulatory, like this guy.   Somehow or other I had forgotten about that.

I can't believe he just p**ped in bed every day, probably multiple times a day. He seemed to think nothing of it either. Can you just imagine the stink in that apartment? I didn't even see any room deodorizer.

And when and how did the bed sheets ever get changed and washed? Ugh.

No, I can't even imagine.  I never thought about that.  The house looked filthy.  Did you notice the stuff on the floor?  Things just dropped there and not picked up.

I heard that he had a catheter - but someone has to empty the bag, right???  I mean, really.....Or maybe not.   Does it get emptied or thrown away?  Does anyone know?  With all that UNcleanliness around him, I would think it's easy to get an infection from a catheter.  Someone must be keeping it clean.  Ugh  Or maybe not.

maybe they use  plastic sheets ... maybe a drop cloth. Honestly I don't know. How would a single caregiver even be able to roll him to get sheets off the bed...when te emt's move him it's takes a small army.

If I couldn't sit down on the toilet (because of my weight) that would be the motivation for me to lose weight asap.

@momtochloe  I remember that show on Brookhaven.  It was the last time I saw  Richard Simmons as he made a visit there to one of the patient.  I think the public has the same fascination with these obese folks as they do with a freak show.  These peoples' lives are so far out of the realm of the ordinary, we can't take our eyes off them.

What I don't undertand is, in the middle of the 600# show, they show a commercial for "My Big FAT FABULOUS Life"...... That makes no sense at all.
