Re: 6 Easy Pay doesn’t do it for me

Agreed, free shipping would be best.

Putting food on easy pay hits me as wrong. Eat the cake within a week, still paying for it a season(s) later.

I buy next to nothing here, but easy pay would not sway me.

I never use easy pay.  Don't buy high ticket items online and for something that's under $50 what's the point.  Much, much prefer free shipping.

Easy-pay does not entice me at all. If QVC would ante-up their merchandise with really great quality and interesting items, I might be tempted! But I don't buy more than a few items a year since their quality has slipped so much in the last 10-15 years.

Money screams; wealth whispers.

Easy pay comes in handy for pricier kitchen appliances like a KA stand mixer, but it doesn't sway my decision to buy something I'm not considering anyway. Now free shipping - that's another matter entirely.

Easy pay, here's how I manage mine. If there's something I find and really want to try it, I will choose ep. If it's something I then choose to keep I pay it off immediately because my reality is, I dislike ep. It drives me crazy to have tons of charges for maybe many items over and over and over again. Makes me and my card feel like it's never paid off - and well, it never really is.

No---find it hard to believe that anyone is spending $$$ for the stuff online---pretty sure I can live wilthout another LOGO thing-------and especially when so many are filing for UE benefits---just not one of my priorities right now.

Re: 6 Easy Pay doesn’t do it for me

I have nothing against easy pay. I have used it or not used it, depending on the situation. I can stretch it out for the full payment period if I choose to or pay it off as early as I wish. During tougher times, it allowed me to purchase something I needed without having to put the entire purchase price up front. In more prosperous times, I can choose to use it or not. It's nice to have choices. For those in higher income brackets, it's easy to to take for granted being able to buy what you want whenever you want. For those on more limited incomes, it's nice to be able to work a purchase into the budget. I've been on both sides of the fence.

During this uncertain time though, the easy pays aren't really an incentive for me. It would really take free shipping  to convince me to turn loose of my wallet.

@scatcat

So true.

Reminds me of how I used to use my Sears credit card to buy gasoline. Back then, I never paid off the balance every month. So months later, I was still paying for that gas.

Count me in with those who would prefer free shipping or a discount instead of 6 easy pays. I noticed the payment option defaults to easy pay now. I always change it to one payment.
