@Kitlynn & @AuntG, one of my all time favorite cozy mystery series author is Elaine Viets, Dead End Job Mystery series that takes place in south Florida.  Great humor, easy reading, a vacation no matter if you are from Florida or not!

I read this series and it is very good! There is a cozymysteries.com site that has a lot of cozy mysteries on it and she is really good to update when new releases come out. You might enjoy checking it out I use it all the time.

I read mainly non-fiction - basically the same kind of stuff I read back in the Dark Ages when I was in college.

Paranormal, Sci-Fy, Romance.  I do like Anne Rice, but not any long s$x narrations in anything I read.

I've spent all of my life reading science and technology oriented texts.

I HAD to have something else!

I'm a romance reader, that's why I don't post often under book club because very few here read what I do: Harlequin Presents, paranormal romance, time travel, historical romance/wagon trains, changelings/shape shifters, werewolves, vampires, angels & demons, and sci-fi.

Mostly non-fiction - biographies, autobiographies, history, politics, art and architecture, nature, ..... And the subjects are eclectic, lol - last week I finished a wonderful biography of Lincoln and now I'm reading Lana Turner's autobiography! Like some fiction too - Anne Tyler, John Grisham as well as the "Classics" from Thackeray, Tolstoy, Hardy, etc. Also enjoy re-reading children's books like the Little House on the Prairie series, Anne of Green Gables, Little Women, etc... I think Charlotte's Web should be required reading for everyone once a year!

The last few years I have mostly been reading mysteries.  But I am picky.  I only like books set in the USA, present day, with smart characters and plenty of action.  I don't like unreliable narrators, sociopaths, psychopaths, too much gore, etc.  A romantic relationship thrown in is good!
