Who reads 2 books at the same time?  I keep one at my bedside table and one downstairs.  Right now reading another Louise Penney book and a new one I picked up called Chanel and Her Sister.

I have on my bedside two books. One is fiction the other is not. I guess I am that way with other items too. I have probably three or four crafting projects going at the same time --most of the time.

Yes. When I worked I kept one book at work to read at lunch and one at home to read at night.  I still often have a day book and a night book, since some page-turners are not conducive to turning off the light and going to sleep.

I have read two books I like to hold a book when I am reading but I also enjoy my Nook. So during the day when I have time I will read my Nook, and at bedtime I will read my paperback book because the Nook as a tablet will keep me awake late at night.

 I always have, at least, 2 books going.

One to read & one to listen to.

I read the "darker" books & listen to "lighter" ones because I will turn them on through the night when I wake up.

Then I may have an autobiography going at the same time.

@msgb I always have multiple craft projects going on or in my head, too!

I do.  DH typically reads 3.  I like reading a fiction and a non-fiction.  And I also have 2 knitting projects going.  Keeps me from getting bored!

I've been reading more than one book for decades. Actually, I now keep about 30 going. (It works for me.)

I always have the book I am reading next to my chair and then another daily inspirational type book there too. I try to read a passage each day from that as it helps keep me positive and focused on my faith. But only one novel or mystery book at a time!
