Thank you DooBdoo! You are ALWAYS so kind and helpful, too! (My iMac is toast, so I only have my iPad right now. It drives me crazy that I can't format my text, and do other things that I was used to doing. I have been looking at apps, and was thinking about asking on the forums for help/advice.)

I've benefited from the great advice and tips from others so often here, so I try to offer what I can in return. sidsmom provided some wonderful tips on the iPad photo thread. Sorry to hear about your Mac. Maybe you'll find something like a good refurbished one from Apple if you don't want to go for a brand new one? Any time you have questions, just start up a thread in the "Electronics Talk" forum and you'll get lots of good ideas.

Yes, it is true. There are some great tips/ideas to be found here. I do appreciate the help, and am sure others do, too. I miss my Mac, but have had to put the problem on the proverbial "back burner" for now. I hope it can be fixed, otherwise, I probably will look at refurbished ones. I am hesitant to post at times, but for sure, I will ask in the future. Thank you again.

Nope, didn't work. You know, it's 2014 (almost 2015!) for the love of Pete, don't you think more sites would be able to accommodate mobile platforms? It's not as though tablets or smart phones are brand spanking new -- and not as though SO MANY people use them in lieu of a computer.
