What are you using? I use my Emjoi and stepped it up with the strongest rollers. Along with that I use a Margaret Dabbs London foot file - which was worth the wait from the UK. When I remember I'll use Alpha Hydrox Pads to exfoliate - which helps.

Man, I have a tough time keeping up with my heels though. They get in bad shape so quickly- probably because I go around barefoot so much. I think I could be using something better than my regular lotions on my heels and feet. I wonder if oil, like coconut would be better...( rhetorical thought here )

Any suggestions for a good foot balm/ cream/ lotion/ oil ?

Don't all clamor at once to answer! {#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I hope this isn't one of the subjects many find gross. But hey.. it's just foot care.Wink

I'm more cognizant of it today, since I'm going to a pool party- though it has been an ongoing problem. They look good for about 4 days as long as I use lotion, then it's back to high maintenance. I'm thinking a good balm might help that last longer... and looking for suggestions.

I'm not keen on the cleanliness of some of these pedi salons, plus I can usually get my feet in pretty good shape the DIY method.

Re: Good Foot Balm, Lotion...

Hi Funloving! I use Mr Pumice in the shower daily and then Heeltastic with socks at night. I picked up both at Sally Beauty. Daily foot care is key in keeping mine soft, I also wear flip flops in my home & never go barefoot. I do a pedicure every couple of wks, either at home or at the salon. I also like Bag Balm (Drugstore) and O'Keefes Working Feet. But I've had superior results from Mr Pumice & Heeltastic and just make it part of my nightly routine. Nice feet are a must for me! My DH evens uses Mr Pumice as well. Bad feet is a deal breaker haha!

I agree about keeping feet nice OCGurl. Most people would look at them and not see anything wrong. But I'm really picky. I'll look into your rec of Mr. Pumice and Heeltastic- both from Sally's?

Really appreciate your response and recommendation! Well... I better get moving to be on time..

Hope you have a GREAT day!

I hear ya, Funloving. Keeping my heels in shape is pretty much a daily task. I too use the Emjoi several times a week. Haven't used the Alpha Hydrox pads but do use their Extra Strength Deep Therapy Foot Cream at night which has 12% glycolic acid. This keeps my heels looking good.

I use a manual foot file and Barielle Foot Cream. It is the best for me.

Geez, it is an ordeal for me, too. I do use a metal file in the shower every day. I also have to use the grater thing about every two to three weeks. My feet laugh at the Emjoi. Julep makes a pretty good roll on to soften/remove callouses. That just made me wonder if any of the MUAC peels might work. They're on sale currently for 25% off with a code.

And almost every night I slather on something goopy and wear the thin cotton socks. Have two pair of those from Dollar Tree.

It's a constant and vigilant process.

Yes, it is a constant & vigilant process. Even using Gehwol products (which is fabulous) and their Swiss foot file, it's an everyday chore for meSmiley Sad(((
