Hello! I recently reviewed and organized my beauty stash to make sure I'm using older items first. Nothing is over 3 years. Holiday time is usually good for considering new as some brands offer nice holiday sets.

This week I used up 2 cans of the Batiste Dry Shampoo. I use the regular one (no color) for adding volume and to extend my hair up to 3 days after shampoo and the dark brown one along the hair line and part to extend my color in between touch ups. Have back ups and usually TJM has them for replenishment purchases or I buy at Target when they have a regularly offered $5 off beauty coupon.

Making good progress with Holiday beauty gift purchases, bought several of the Korres TS to keep and to gift. Monitoring Costco for their Designer Fragrance offers which is always a killer deal with pricing 50% off retail ($70 instead of $150+). You have to be good with timing and scoop in because they sell out within days.

This thread has really reeled in my spending and my overbuying though.  I still have an occasional splurge, but quit the weekly buying.  My move last year really woke me up as to the amounts I still had.  Still enjoying reading, but the few moisturizers and serums are ok for me now.  Stopped looking all the time for the next best thing.  

I've shared some of the excess with friends and family, so things didn't get too old.  However, in my move, I found two old philosophy products that I thought would have lost scent, but they were perfect.  An amazing Grace and Falling in Love 2 oz.  Made me happy.

 I know what you mean by trying to find the next best thing.  I have been struggling with a dry itchy scalp and have gone through numerous products to remedy it.  I finally went to the dermatologist who gave me a RX for scalp oil and shampoo.  So far it is working somewhat well.  I go back in December for follow up.  I have put aside all those scalp products - oils, scrubs shampoos and conditioners that I tried.  Last Christmas I had a co-worker who was collecting gently used items to give to needy families for an organization she volunteers for.  I am hoping she will be collecting again this year b/c I plan to give her all those products as well as some other beauty products I will never use.  I also have lots of clothing that is too big for me I hope to give her as well.

Just one thing to report this week...

SeoulCeuticals Anti Aging Chebula Active Serum -  I thought I had enough to last while we're away but came up short. Used up, have one at home to open. We'll get back tomorrow.

Thanks @kathie66.  Fortunately it's an easy and relatively short drive.  I am looking forward to getting home to our kitty cats and having some lap time.

Used up Oudad Curl Shaper Memory Maker 3-in-1 Revitalizing Milk - Replaced with the same from my stash (once I finally found it).  

Threw out Tweak'd Tribal Chocolate All-Purpose Rescue Cream - Tried to like it, but just didn't so I finally bit the bullet and threw it away.  I'm currently using a Perlier Pomegranate body cream that I'm on AS for.  

That's it.  I'm really close on a few other products though.

Used up a 2.5 Oz. bottle of J'adore Body Milk (lotion). 
It was part of a set that has Eau de Parfum J'adore.
