Anyone have good suggestions for 1st time wearers that are easy to put on?  I tried KG's and they were horrible.

Re: False eyelashes adhesive

@theresa  I like the DUO brush on strip lash clear adhesive for false lash strips. Its easy to apply and the false lashes stay on all day until I take them off.  I don't wear lashes very often, but they're fun to wear for a date night or special occasion. My favorite lash sets are the Ardell Demi Whispies 🙂.

Re: False eyelashes adhesive

@theresa I've been wearing false lashes for over 40 years and have tried many different types of adhesives.  My favorite that I always go back to is Kiss I Envy Strip Eyelash Adhesive Black with Aloe in the pink tube.  Kiss also make a variety of different adhesives.  The trick is to let it dry on the lashes for a bit before putting it on so that it doesn't move all over the place.

Re: False eyelashes adhesive

@raveelisa I should have been clearer.  I wanted lashes that already have the adhesive backing so I can just stick them on.  But I will look into this brand you mentioned.  Thank you!!

Re: False eyelashes adhesive

@SportyShorty07 I looked at this on Amazon also comes in dark color which I have dark brown eyes olive skin.  Do you apply the glue only on the fake lashes but also on your upper lash line?  I watched some of the videos and there were different ways to apply.  I have sensitive eyes so I use CereVe facial cleanser and make up remover by occusoft.  Any special remover you recommend?

@theresa  The dark colored eyelash strip adhesive could be a nice choice for you too. Great questons: some ladies apply the lash adhesive to their lashline and then they put the lashes onto the lashline- that seems to work well.  My preferred method is to put the adhesive onto the strips and then I wait a second or two for the glue to set and I put the false lashes onto my lashline. 🙂

My favorite eye makeup remover is Garnier Micellar Water- I put it on a cotton round and it gets all of my eye makeup and any lash adhesive off in one go without tugging my skin or irritatiing my sensitive eyes. Occusoft is a great product and I think that it might be able to remove the eyelash adhesive too

Re: False eyelashes adhesive

@SportyShorty07 because I've never worn false lashes do you need to apply the make up remover first to loosen the adhesive or do the lashes peel off and then you wash off your makeup as usual?

I first started wearing false eyelashes in 1981. Then it was on and off and till 5 years ago. Exclusively false lashes. The best glue that I have tried is the one I've used for the Last 5 Years. It Is by i ENVY. Super Strong Hold. It's not at my local Walmart. I order it from Amazon. My favorite style of lash is from Ardell. My next favorite, Kiss. Different styles for different occasions and different moods.

@theresa  Great questions, Theresa 🙂.  There are two ways to remove false lashes. The first way: you can gently pull off the false lashes from your outer corner of your eyes and lightly tug until they're off. The second way is to put makeup remover or micellar water on a q-tip and gently press and move that q tip along the lash line back and forth to moisten and loosen the glue.  You then lightly pull off the false lashes.

Once the lashes are off, you can use eye makeup remover, Occusoft, or micellar water to remove the rest of the glue and eye makeup.  If you want to reuse the lashes a few more times, you can remove any remaining glue off the false lashes and then let them sit overnight on the counter or nightstand.
