What did you use up this week? 10/17

[ Edited ]

Hi Friends,

I didn't use anything up this week, but I am slowly cleaning out my makeup, hair, body and skin care stash. It was a wake-up call as to how much I have.

While going threw things, I noticed two unopened bottles of Silk Genesis Bakuchol Body Spray had leaked. I lost a bottle and a half. It was my error as I had stored them on their side. Another wake-up call of having too much.

Threw Away:

K Voss Body Cream-it was old and had turned

Several more eyeliners, foundations, and samples that were old.

Gave Away:

Eyeliners, Mascara, and travel-size Tanning Lotion to my DD. I'm keeping a bag for her and will add things as I go along.

How about you?

Have a good weekend. Be well all!

Good morning beauty friends.  Nothing either!

This thread has really reeled in my spending and my overbuying though.  I still have an occasional splurge, but quit the weekly buying.  My move last year really woke me up as to the amounts I still had.  Still enjoying reading, but the few moisturizers and serums are ok for me now.  Stopped looking all the time for the next best thing.

I've shared some of the excess with friends and family, so things didn't get too old.  However, in my move, I found two old philosophy products that I thought would have lost scent, but they were perfect.  An amazing Grace and Falling in Love 2 oz.  Made me happy.

Have a great weekend!

I love how you said you stopped looking for the next best thing! I was doing good but the last year I have bought way to much, I rationalized it as purchasing before retirement. Well retirement is here! Going to get back on track now. Thanks for the inspiration @lynnie61

I used up (almost) my L'Occitaine Almond Shower Oil. Definitely on my repurchase list.

Finally-----a jar of Tweak'd scalp scrub---geez I like that stuff and have a full jar in my stash but it took a couple years of using it once a week of the very small amount I needed. Still working on many sample sizes of various stuff.

Good morning!  I used up a Timeless 20% Vitamin C.  Had one ready to go in my stash and purchased two this week.

Forgot to mention that I tossed a Prequel exfoliating toner or whateve it's called.  It burned and stung and I didn't like it.

Have a good Thursday!

strivectin daily exfoliating pads. Extremely sticky on the face and that doesn't go away. Replaced with Maree Glycolic pads which accomplish the same thing but leave a moist smoother feel

WEN Re-Moist Hydrating Hair Mask. Replenished from stash.  For me, this mask has been so good for my hair when it's too dry. The directions instruct to rinse it out, but I've always left it in. If you use a lot of the product in your hair, you probably will need to rinse.

Cetaphil Gentle skin cleanser.

CeraVe Foaming facial cleanser

I like both of these cleansers, but I'm looking forward to trying the RMS cleansers.

I squeezed the last dollop of Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue out of the tube. Last night I went to Ulta to check that I am using the best match for me and bought a replacement.
