As a facial exfoliate ,i think i remember it was popular years ago.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

Makes sense due to the lactic acid.  I'm sure you can find a lot of recipes on the Internet.

I tried it as an a.m. facial wash. Really made my skin feel nice & silky. Only I couldn't stand the smell of the powdered milk.

 

Yes, it was talked about years ago -- that and Crisco!

 

All you need to do is add the sugar (scrub for lips), the albutin from eggs for tightening the skin, and you've got all the ingredients to bake a cake!

 

Who needs beauty from QVC when we all have these things in our kitchens!

The smell was the first thing I thought of! My parents used to mix powdered milk with whole milk to stretch it and I can still recall that awful smell!

Baking soda mixed with a tad of cleanser works as a decent facial exfoliator.

Please don't do this.  It is bad for the skin as it upsets the acid mantle and the damage is cumulative.
