@smileshannon  For sure......every great startup company eventually gets sold.  Just when you find some products you love, they either disappear or the quality drops.  You're right about Laura G. tool.  Mostly all I see now is IT, and since she recently sold that one too........who knows where that will lead.

         @Bibione, ' hello' ~

 Without any attachments to doubtful guessing, I, too, understand exactly what you have mentioned.

 Here, with my R&D inquiries know that not all products may contain ingredients I can use, but with Tarte, there was always One - three products that I've use since the onset of vendor's first presentation.

 After the hoopla and exposure has been brought as an excellent ` go to `, yes $$$s have been made, the reputation is close to 99% known, so as with other brands the highest bidder.    TAKES OVER. A buy out!

Nothing, I had used, from 3 brands, have never been the same.

FYI: one of the largest cosm. CO, here, have outsourced their beauty line to Asia. I have noted this several times upon learning from newspapers which I have checked out.

P.... &.\ g.

 I will not buy, nor do I wish to make ...keep on making. China or its equals more wealthy with our very old owned technology.

Only was witness, through experience- ' of ' one very well known manufacturing \ beauty line. No comparison to the original. All about money.

If you find anything made here, then I buy either triples or go BEFORE going .....elsewhere.

I definitely believe that your ability to rethink is one step above most. Personally, I will not but into the trade off.

Shame on vendors. Selling outside our OWN.

I still like Tarte.  I don't like the Tarte lipcolors though.  I used to like the full coverage ones she had for awhile, but they were discontinued.  I like the lash paint liner and lash paint mascara in the gold/black tube.

I love the highlighter I purchaesd from Sephora as well.

I'm not really liking IT cosmetics except for the CC cream and some powders, etc.  which I love.  The rest of the products are lame.
