You're right. In the scheme of things it's not important but I think it bothers me because I like her and I like watching her presentations. If it was some other vendor that was a sleazebag then it probably wouldn't phase me to find everything they were saying was complete garbage. She's very likable and seems so sincere!

@San Antonio GalIt's possible that the error is on the part of Collen Lopez when writing her blog and not Stacey.  I am a Led Zeppelin fan, but in my old age of 58, I sometimes mix up their 2 names.  IMO, you and @Andreatoo are taking this too far.

@Linmo - I agree. It's become a witch hunt. Over the top comments suggesting that Stacey is lying about her past. Really? Over and over again???

Her CS staff is probably young and not familiar with all of her 1980's decade videos and modeling jobs. They are trained to answer questions about her products, usage, regime etc. 

This is absurd! But, I notice how some posters thrive on gossip and trying to find gotchas - anything supposedly negative or poorly reflecting on vendors, hosts and celebrities.  

On another thread someone here is suggesting Colleen Lopez/HSN is lying about the TS weave leather jacket not having weaved leather. Absurd indeed!

And after all of this I decided to look for some of her modeling pics from the 80s. I can't find a single one. No magazine covers nothing. @AndreatooMaybe her employees are like many CS reps who don't really know the answers to a lot of specific questions and just give a pre-packaged answer.  Who cares?

If you like her products, then use them.  If not, then move on and give it a rest.

My best guess is her CS reps probably weren't old enough to even know Robert Palmer and weren't around back when Stacy would have been in the video.  They are going by what Stacy said on air. 

They have also shown Stacy's modeling photos and magazine covers on air.  I doubt she's lying about all of that.

I'm also sure that Colleen misspoke with the Robert Plant/Robert Palmer video.  Last night she repeatedly referred to the TS shoes as Sporto rather than Easy Spirit and someone must have corrected her in her ear.  These things happen.

This is off topic but while we are on the topic of Stacey (who I love and use her makeup and enjoy her shows), she often mentions that her eyebrow tails never grew back after a makeup artist shaved her eyebrows for a Grace Kelly photo shoot.  I get if they tweezed her eyebrows, but shaving can stop the growth? Just curious
