Those products are not always packaged the same and may not have the same kind of codes we use in the US.
I still think that assuming these products are old, bad, or we were victims of fraud by HL is wrong.
That's it.
That's exactly why I went "to the source" & contacted Haute Look's Customer Service Dept, took photos & send them both ShopHQ & their codes so that their marketing/buying dept. could sort it out...they will get back to me as soon as possible even if they have to contact Dimitri to get the info...Hope you can relax now!!!
is it? I can't believe anyone would be so vested in a few products to take anything this far. You seem to be on a mission of some sort that wants to make out that this sale was nefarious is some way. sending them photos? I could see if this was something like a vaccine or life altering product but skincare?

And it is hard to believe you are so vested in the products to defend them at all costs, even going so far as to insult people for doing what they feel they need to do to get to the bottom of the issue. You may not care if yours is old or not or has the right label or not but others do and would like to get more information. Why does it bug you so much what they want to pursue it? How does it affect you what they want to do? It really doesn't so relax. Enjoy your products and let them be.

why do you care what I think? Telling me to relax when obviously she is worked up about getting to the bottom of something so insignificant?
And yes, it does affect me and anyone else who buys from these sites. They offer discontinued products at affordable prices but if they think it might become too much of a hassle well then they may not offer them anymore. And all because someone mentioned some product codes without really having any evidence to support her theory.
And where is the insult? I do believe someone saying a company is committing fraud is more insulting than anything I could have said. I don't need you to police my posts and decide whether I should be vested in this.
I'll post what I want whenever I want. And I am very relaxed.
and BTW, I also believe QVC started the new policy of not refunding original shipping because of too many people abusing the return policy. So, now all posters suffer because of it. In the same manner if someone has this much interest in obtaining information from Hautelook, it does not just affect them. HL has already given refunds to those who called and complained so why go on about it? Take the refund and go on about your life.

And use and enjoy your products and go on about your life and let others do what they want to do. HL should be aware if they are potentially selling old/expired products so I am sure they appreciate the information so they can look into it further to make sure they aren't. That will help prevent that type of thing from happening in the future which benefits all of us.
I agree with you about abusing any return policy but if people are worried about getting old/expired products, they should be able to find out about that and return the items if they are. No one should be expected to use old products and that certainly is not abusing the return policy, in fact, that is the best use of the return policy there is.

and my final word on this Happy Daze
Wenfen posted that there are bullies/haters/cliques on this forum, yet you said I insulted posters. I am quite sure she was referring to me since I am the most vocal about her investigations. And yet you did not call her out on that?
Suebdoo said she contacted CS at HL and they could not tell her anything about date codes or manufacturing. Wenfen said she contacted CS at HL and sent them photos and they will get back to her. Which of these is a correct statement?
And no, I don't think Hautelook cares about selling old products. I think they are a deep discount online retailer who buys lots of things from vendors, retailers and many other places not just of skincare products but clothing that has been sitting around for awhile, last years' leftovers and things like that. They offer to customers those deep discounts.
I think anyone who shops these sites knows that, or at least should know that before they shop.
And why am I vested? Because I have my say when I think things don't "smell right". I have spoken up before on other matters that gave me the same feeling. Just because I do so does not give you the right to say I am insulting posters.

HappyDaze...thanks so much for your support! You Rock!
Mochachino...FYI..HL customer service dept asked me to take the photos & send them the codes...just like Happy Daze mentioned, they don't want to sell old/expired items anymore than we want to purchase them. Take a breath...ratchet it down a notch & wait until they get the information back from the vendor.
And by the way...Your last word Never seems to be just that!!! LOL

TY Hd and wenfen, and others that " get it". wenfen I am sending them the 2 different bottles so they have it right in front of them too.
Mochachino Hautelook does not have the merchandise....it is sent to them by the vendor/company selling. This is why there is a 2-3 week shipping date usually. I am completely baffled why you and some others think it is so out of line to question an order they got through HL that doesn't seem right. I could not get the product info I was looking for from Skinn...not HL
I agree with what HD said , and others, that the company, HL, wants to know of any problems because they are on the line, so to speak, for what the customer gets.
HL Customer Service has been nothing but helpful and they want to figure this out. I sent them all the info I had. Thus a recap and the bottom line:
I received an order and I am 90% happy and all seems ok. BUT I was sent 2 versions of the yellow Chin Up Pro. This is how I was even curious about the dates they were made. Skinn has not answered me about when they began to sell Chin Up Pro. I think gokat thought about 2012. So I looked at the Skinn Facebook page. 7/2012 there are pictures of the product in the current version...with more ingredients and different packaging. So easy to figure out that the bottles people got with just the Pro sticker is older than that....right? Someone added the little sticker that said Pro. It is under factory seal. Adding a sticker does NOT add the ingredients that are now, and have been in the product sold since at least 7/2012, to the bottle.
If people want to use an old product....fine. But I bought it because the product that I bought from Evine works for me. I expected to be sold the same thing and not a doctored up bottle with a sticker made before 7/2012.
