I just received from Amazon a little silicon device called the Brush Egg. I just tried it for the first time on a Trish McEoy brush that has white hairs on the end. This little egg cleaned the brush so well, the end of the brush is bright white again. What a great investment for only five dollars! Does s great job on cleaning makeup brushes.

O M G Kathoderay{#emotions_dlg.w00t} You better have gotten that emerald ring because I have it and it's super gorgeous!! I wish I would have gotten it at that price. I think when I bought it I paid like 89 dollars or something like that for it. It's a fabulous ring. If you haven't gotten it yet, GO GET IT GIRLFRIEND!!!{#emotions_dlg.thumbup} It's a great ring at a great price.

All the rest of the rings you posted are also nice. You are a great detective. Thanks for posting. You did good.{#emotions_dlg.tt1}

I've seen pics of the Brush Egg. My thinking was it wasn't all that different from the silicone pore cleansing pads, like the one Sephora sells. I think one came with some cleansers, too. If you already have one of those, it might be worth trying that first before buying something else. I will try it with my silicone pore cleansing pad if I have a stubborn brush, although that rarely happens.

The face silicone cleansing pads are about a dollar on eBay, they also have the Brush Egg, or a knock off, for $2.00 or less with free shipping for either item. The downside on eBay is these items are usually from China and I know some don't buy from there (China or eBay) and you would have to wait a bit longer for shipping.
