Highly recommend BOOTS Intense Serum - found at Target or ULTA, made in England. Have been using BOOTS skincare products for several years and love it.

Having what you think was an adverse reaction to a specific serum, OP, doesn't reflect on the whole category; it likely means either that one or more ingredients weren't right for your particular skin or that it was a coincidence.

Another vote for NCN Vit C. It has, IMO, the best ingredient deck around, and good news that it will continue to be sold with a pump dispenser.

Yes, I read the good news about the pump. Imagine, a vendor who listens to her customers!

I called and spoke with her about three weeks about a problem on my current bottle ( a back-up one with a pump that I had just opened). I was having a hard time priming the pump. She said she could either send me a new pump or the new cap or whatever it was that she using briefly at that time. I told her that someone had posted misgivings about that new system because it had a metal cap that supposedly could react with the C and a couple other complaints.

She replied that she's been on an ongoing quest to find the best way to package this serum and that that latest one would not be her last. She also made it clear that she does extensive research. I had the feeling that she had received various complaints. She sounded frustrated, mentioning something about how she's always hearing words to the effect of "I read somewhere on the Internet that...."Wink You can imagine dealing with that all the time. Anyway, I chose for her to send me a new pump rather than that other cap, but in the meantime, mine decided to start working properly.

Looking back to our conversation, I'm not at all surprised that she has returned to the pump dispenser, which I love and usually have no problems with.

Well, if you've saved any pump dispensers from Isomers they work on the NCN Vit. C bottle. I received the NCN Vit. C serum a couple of weeks ago with that shaker dispenser and metal cap. Used that once and switched it out immediately with an Isomers pump dispenser, lol. The Isomers pump went right on the NCN bottle, didn't even have to transfer the serum to an Isomers bottle. I knew saving those empty Isomers bottles would come in handy!

An estimated 700,000 people around the world, 400,000 of them children, have died so far due to the discontinuation of the USAID program.

I've never used Isomers, but good info, Sweet Susie -- love your nic, of course. Smile I now have that extra NCN pump that Nanci sent me, so that's handy if I ever receive a defective one.
