If I didn't already own the Rimmel nude, I would have ordered this box based on getting that lipstick. A bad color lipstick pretty much makes or breaks a box for me (unless there is a good mascara - not Wet and Wild). I'd be peeved if I received a red lipstick in the bait and switch. I'm 90% done with the boxes

I'm sorry to hear some of you received a different color lipstick. The one they promised was a deciding factor in my getting this box. 

When they say I'll get one or the other (shampoo/conditioner) Ixalways assume I will get the one I am least interested in. I got the conditioner this time, too, but I expected I would.0

I just got off the phone with Target's customer service. I wanted them to know how unhappy I was about getting the lipstick in red instead of the nude I was suppose to get (I will never use it). She said I could return the box (it would cost almost as much to send it back as I paid for it), or she could give me a $2 credit. I took the credit. If this is Target's usual practice I'm not ordering anymore of their Beauty Boxes.

@philogirl, what I do is Google Target Beauty Box for each month. Something will pop up and I'll click on the link. There is no subscription for it.

This was my first Beauty Box. I have not tried everything yet but I was also disappointed that we didn't get the right lipstick. I wonder if anyone got the nude shade. I also got the conditioner too.

Thanks Jordan.  I can't believe I didn't try that. I saw this thread very early and I tried a search on the Target App and got nothing.

You're welcome! You have nothing to lose by voicing your complaint about the lipstick.If they got a lot of phone calls about this (surely you and I are not the only ones to get the red lipstick) they wouldn't do this in the future.

I called and complained and they refunded the entire cost of the box.
