Desi, I hope your foot is a lot better or shortly as well as your eye, both bad things to hurt. That is what that yellow stuff, plasma something I got from Skinn, is a sort of gel you pat on oily or greasy areas with the sponge provided(know you are done with Skinn as am I but do like this stuff for that). I too haven't worn anything else since getting the IT CC cream foundation and now love the IT stain stick duos and haven't worn anything else on my lips since getting that. I am glad I don't need anything under this IT CC foundation so it should be better with the hot humid weather, go more lightly.
Janet, I am finding the Rimmel ScandalEyes chubby crayon liners are staying on a lot longer for me than the Ulta ones using the ELF lid primer although the Ulta has a lot more to choose from but I like the Rimmel Guilty Grey a lot and use that the most on the top, use my BE ready pencils on the bottom.
pepesmom, hope Pepe is having a better time now and hope the coming week is better for him. Our older ones prefer the warmer weather although once it gets super hot they stay in most of the time and find a cool spot to lay on, not the carpet, go to the flagstone by the front door or the vinyl in the kitchen or bathroom. They do like to lay under a tree in the yard providing it isn't really humid out but right now all 3 are really loving being out.
I too was thinking of you and when you weren't on I wondered if your back and neck were acting up more. AM hoping the PT is helping. I stand under the shower in the tub and set it for pulse and let it beat on my back, feels good. I do this after some stretching exercises. Before going to bed I have DH rub my back with Aspercream than it feels a whole lot better when I get up the next day.
My3fatcats, I haven't tried any of J Lo's scents but that does sound like a very pleasant scent, especially with the warmer weather coming, should be nice, thanks for the review.

Hi guys. Tried to walk, it's warm but the winds are just ridiculous!
Going to the in-laws. Happy Passover to those of us who celebrate.
Doglover, hope the idea helps. That yellow Skinn stuff is the same as the clear one he and Mally and now the drugstores have, oils and silicones. Just makes my skin look greasy after a few minutes. Thanks though, I bet it works great for drier skins.
Will be back much later.
Eye still looks funny and isn't right, but not killing me either. About the same as the foot, lol!
Have a great evening everyone and I'll chat more later.

Happy Passover to all who celebrate.
Desi -- Very warm (75) here today but really windy. It started to rain in the early afternoon.
Hope you have a nice time at your MIL's; one good thing, the driving will be better than in December!
The car wash and detail shop did a great job on our car -- it looks like new! Got there a bit after 8 AM and was finished at 9 AM. Then stopped in Target (of course) as it's right next door -- looked for a regular pencil sharpener and all they had were the battery-powered sharpeners.
doglover -- I find that the Rimmel eyeliner is smaller and easier for me to apply. The Ulta is almost like a shadow and I suppose you can use it for that too. Tried the get the Guilty Grey Rimmel but couldn't find it anywhere -- have to get to Walmart as I have to stock up on things for the cottage and they're so much cheaper.
Good that DH was ambitious and washed and vacuumed both vehicles. We're just getting too old for that and our car was so dirty -- car wash and detail shop did a great job and they were done in no time.
Still haven't tried any Skinn products. The plasma always looks interesting but I still haven't caved.
Korres has a TS -- White Grape Shower Gel and 2 Body Butters for 29.95. Have no idea what the white grape smells like.
Hope you find a solution to the problem you are having with your eye!
pepes mom -- Sorry your back is bothering you again and you may have to use Turbo Tax which won't help. As soon as all our documents come in the mail for filing, we take it and have it prepared which was about Feb. 1st.
Yes, our car does look brand new and I always think it drives better after going through the car wash. I know it's silly but I always felt that way!
We seem to have the same weather -- it was really warm today and did feel humid. Now it's raining and the weather predicts snow tomorrow morning!
Glad Bella had her bath -- she sounds so cute! Hope Pepe is feeling better. DD told me yesterday that the vet is going to give Benson stronger medicine and see if that will help him. Hate to see him in pain and it's so hard for him to get up.
We enjoyed Panera Bread and I'm trying to get DH to go there once in a while for lunch or an early dinner. He really loves their tomato soap and so do I. Hope the Barbecue chicken salad comes back and you can enjoy it again.
My3fatcats -- I'm not familiar with Jo Malone's fragrances but the Orange Blossom sounds perfect for spring and summer. I guess I'm fortunate that I have no allergies to fragrance or deodorant.
Have a nice evening everyone!

Hi, back again. Watching IT Cosmetics.
Dinner went fine I guess, as fine as an in-law visit can.
The weather is so odd. Tomorrow will be even windier, then cold and maybe snow?
MIL has some VB bags she showed me. She actually told me about QVC in the first place. We didn't even have cable way back when and you always needed it to see QVC. HSN I did find much to DH's dismay) on a non-cable channel.

Happy Passover to all that celebrate.
Desi, glad at least the eye and foot aren't as terrible as they were in the beginning, at least a little better. Will try that next time I get that pain.
Guess we all have about the same weather, very windy here and is raining but want higher winds later in the day. Going to get the oil changed in my car, don't think it needs it but got a letter from the company, should wait but DH said let's go so, appointment for 7 AM.
Janet, I like the guilty grey and also the paranoid purple if you smudge it lightly. Both last longer than the Ulta ones and I can sharpen these to a better point than the Ulta ones too. Ulta comes in a lot more colors but the Rimmel lasts a lot longer, all day and night for me as long as I use that ELF lid primer, $1 so, can't go wrong. You can put the purple on lightly as well as smudge good for shadow than go at the base for a liner, works well.
pepesmom, don't know what I would do if I had to do our taxes, no idea, would have to go and have someone do them for me I guess. Hope the back and neck are gradually getting a bit better with the PT.

Popping on to say hello. STILL doing taxes. I'm livid. I don't think it would be possible to be any more disorganized than my husband. 2 years ago we went to HR Block and paid around $800 to have them done. That was ridiculous in my opinion. We still had to find everything, break it into categories, add things up. She just plugged the numbers in the computer.
Happy Passover to those who celebrate.

Happy Passover to all who celebrate!
Desi -- It was 75 here yesterday; rained early afternoon and almost all night and changed to snow about 8AM and it's 35 degrees now. What snow fell has all melted and 1-3 inches was predicted. Hope we don't get any more.
Glad your MIL told you about QVC and glad you were able to watch HSN. I started watching QVC about 1986 or so. Missed IT -- think it was on at 11:00 and I got up at midnight; always do to the check the new TSV and TS.
Hope your foot and eye are much better.
doglover -- I hope I can find the guilty grey Rimmel ScandalEyes someplace -- Walmart should have it and I have to get there soon. I do have the Elf primer and like it -- nice to just cover up the imperfections on my eyelids. I have the sheer and would like to get the champagne too.
I checked on Amazon for Enchanted Wonderstruck and it got very good reviews. Some bought it for their DDs and GDs as they love Taylor Swift! I saw that the EW is available at Walmart. Have you tried the shower gel and lotion -- it must be really nice.
pepes mom -- Hope your taxes are done and I can understand why your are livid! We have ours done at EG Tax but I think it may be local and they charge about $150 to prepare it. DD and DSIL have theirs done there too.
Yesterday you mentioned Arnica and I thought I could use it on my back -- I asked the pharmacist if it was OK to use when taking Warfarin. He said it would be best if I didn't use it as it's an herbal remedy.
Take care and have a nice evening everyone!

Hi Doglover, Pepe's mom, Janet, everyone. Thanks for the good wishes.
What crummy weather, pouring rain and light rain and incredible winds. No chance of wearing sandals even if my foot was perfect. Or even going for a walk.
Doglover, I have at least a few sharpeners. One eats pencils, leaves the wood uneven and breaks the tips, but I couldn't tell you which one!
Maybe one day you will get Trader's. Really not that huge of a deal, like I said, I rarely go. Very similar to Aldi's which is the same company, just a little classier and you don't have to rent a cart!
Janet, hope Benson gets a stronger med that helps him.
I'm glad MIL told me about QVC, although eventually I would have found it. Before cable I had no idea what was available.
Probably wise to avoid the arnica. maybe for a tiny spot, but if you are using it on a large area, who knows how much you'd absorb into the skin. I'm not sure how arnica works, but better safe than sorry.
You have the same lousy weather. Figures, if you wash the car, it pours, lol.
Pepe's mom, that does seem awfully high for taxes. Is it because they have no competition, your tax situation is complex, or they are just crooks? My mom got taken to the cleaners when we had her will made. Her lawyer actually asked if we wanted to sue them they bilked her so much. We passed, she couldn't take any added aggravation. Not fair that people take advantage of the elderly like that.

The $800 was what they determined fair for the regular tax prep plus the business portion. Just finished the federal and pa. Of course, due to the ineptitude of my DH, we owe big time. Would be nice if we had the money in the bank to pay what we owe. Have to borrow money to pay the taxes. Yay. I'm thrilled. I'm having chest pain, my neck, back, arm are killing me. DH has the nerve to ask when I'll be done. Haven't even touched the local taxes yet.
Husband likes to pretend he's such a big shot with online friends. Yet, he leaves his disabled wife to handle all of this poo. You know, I've been telling him to get his things together since November. He waited until Friday to start things. I told him I wanted him to go to a CPA or other tax preparer multiple times. Nope. Let the stupid wife do everything. He actually had the nerve to be on the internet while I was pulling my hair out.
I'm so beyond stressed its not even funny.

Pepe's mom, I am so sorry. Men! I can't change the men in my family, guess you can't either. All I can suggest is taking care of yourself the best you can while you tackle this - HE should be doing them, but I know that wouldn't be a good idea. Take a hot shower, heating pad on the neck, pain pills and a muscle relaxer or tranquilizer, glass of wine (or a bottle) your choice. Long as it doesn't knock you out so you can't do the taxes.
Would serve him right if you did let the 800.00 place do it. It isn't worth killing yourself physically. You have to borrow money to pay the taxes anyway, what's another 800.00? Who knows, maybe they'd even find some extra deductions so you break even. It's very frustrating and I know from experience, next year will be the same story.
