DH already nixed Sofia. At this point, even if I put on Chloe or Beautiful which he liked, bet he wouldn't now! I kind of have to buy for me, he doesn't want me to get what he likes. He didn't like PSS Beach and I got it because I loved it and guess what, he liked it too. Sometimes I don't think they are great judges.

Desi: Men are clueless. I melted a tart on Sunday and my husband said it smelled great. Last year he said he couldn't stand that one. Then again, my husband will order food that he says he doesn't like, too.

Sorry about your prescription. Why can't people just do their jobs correctly? It would alleviate so many issues.

I didn't type this out, but today at my visit, the nurse puts the pulse ox on my finger and says she may send me to the ER. Why? Because my heart rate was supposedly over 200. I told her there was no way it was that high. She said "that's what the machine says".

As a nurse, I'm thinking: Look at your patient. Am I having chest pain or palpitations? Am I short of breath? Do I look like I am ready to pass out? How about actually checking my pulse manually, or, gasp, listen to my heart. She put the pulse ox on a different finger and I was miraculously cured.

I actually called my neighbor who is also a nurse. She said most people in health care are clueless and or lazy, and the machine is always right. ( ${#emotions_dlg.rolleyes}$ ) She agreed that I had the correct thought process.

Pepe's mom, so glad my DH isn't the only clueless guy in the scent department. His sniffer isn't that great anyway in many cases. Have to make sure he doesn't eat something past it's prime, for example. He doesn't agree of course. ${#emotions_dlg.sneaky}$

That is truly amazing but sadly not all that surprising about the nurse. Gadgets are very temperamental. The fact that you had to tell her to check another finger is just sad! Another person knowing far less would have been needlessly shipped off to the ER! I'm very glad your heart-rate was just fine.
