Have the same weather here, started to really pour than turned to snow late evening and everything was white, still is on the grass, trees, shrubs and cars yet but is gone off the walks and streets. They only want 34 for a high today and 25 tonight, winter came back.
Janet, I got my Rimmel ScandalEyes at Walmart but they didn't have a lot of colors to choose from so I really don't know what other colors they have but I do like the guilty grey and paranoid purple(using this one lightly than smudging, very nice). The brown I got is more of a coppery brown which I really don't care for, prefer a nice soft true brown which I did get in an Ulta one but the Ulta doesn't last as long nor shaper as well as the Rimmel.
I got my Wonderstruck Enchanted from fragrancenet.com and do have a 21% off coupon number so if anyone is interested in anything there I will post the coupon number, good till the end of this month.
pepesmom, Hope the neck and back are getting a bit better.
Desi, the sharpeners I have, wide ones are from Tarte and the slender ones are from BE Ready eye lining pencils. Both work great. I use the Tarte big one for my Ulta, Rimmel and the few Tarte ones I have left and use the BE ready smaller one for all regular size pencils. Yes, someone posted once on the recipe swap that TJ and Aldi's were brothers and came from Germany. Someone else posted her DH works for an Aldi's and said it is the cleanest of all warehouses he ever saw(works in one of their warehouses, not the grocery store). Said to never be afraid of anything you get there. I get produce there plus cheese, half and half. It is just a block away from one of the diners we eat at so when we eat there if I need anything we stop at Aldi's on the way home. You pay 25 cents for a cart but get it back when you return it to the corral. This is good so carts aren't rolling around in the parking lot and into cars on windy days. They are open 9 AM to 9 PM all but Sunday, 10 to 6. DH goes to the eye doctor today, every 6 months to the regular eye doctor and once a year to a specialist.

Desi -- It was cold and windy today but sunny. Did some grocery shopping and CVS for a few things and had a PT test. I like to go to Quest early in the morning but all those appts. are taken lately so I went at 12:30 -- that's their slow time too.
Stopped in Aldi and their K cups were $5.69 for 12 but DD just bought me some from TJ's -- 2.99 for 7 K cups and I really like them. I'll have to stock up when before we move to the cottage!
Have to call DD to see how Benson is doing on his new medication -- she took him for a bath last week.
I wouldn't take my nice clean car out yesterday and get it all dirty again!!!
doglover -- I really like Aldis and was in there today -- had to buy more Mozz. cheese slices and the large container of OF Oatmeal. Also stocked up on garlic and onion powder to take to the cottage. I like their SF hazelnut or fr. vanilla creamer; instant brown rice; whole wheat bread. I've never tried their meats but do buy produce like strawberries and roma tomatoes. I agree, it is a very clean store.
I went on fragrance.net and got an instant 20% coupon -- haven't ordered anything yet. Have you tried the EW shower gel and lotion yet? Because I'm starting to pack things to take to the cottage, I've been looking through my shower gel, etc. and I really shouldn't buy any more. Always tempted though.
pepes mom -- Hope you are recovering from your Turbo Tax fiasco! You poor thing; you must be tired out. I agree with Desi -- Men! Can't change them so I don't even try. Just wish your DH wouldn't wait until the last minute each year! Your taxes were more complex because of DH's business, too.
So all I can say is pamper yourself and hope you are feeling better; don't blame you for feeling stressed. You deserve a rest after all that. Desi had excellent advice!
Take care and have a nice evening everyone!

Hi Doglover and Janet. Winter is back, we had a good layer of snow but most of it left. The temps feel like November!
Doglover, I went back to the Walgreen's with testers. They had 3 Taylor Swift scents, Mariah Carey Dream, and others that I haven't seen in other Walgreen's. Dreams was awful, smelled like coconut gasoline!
Janet, shoot, should have checked the K cups at Trader's, drove right by it.
I don't dislike Aldi's. It's just not near us and I don't drive that far, whereas I can get to Trader's.
Watching a creepy movie on LMN.

Janet, yes I like both the scented body lotion and the scented shower gel although the shower gel doesn't last as long of course but the body lotion does have a decent staying power and do like that. I have never gotten meat at Aldi's other than one time when I picked up boneless ribs and boy were they good so, will get them again, very good. I do get honey ham lunch meat, cats love this as does DH with swiss cheese.
Desi, broke a record here again, went down to 25, record was 28 same as it was yesterday but yesterday we went down to 24 so, is still very cold at night and days so far are around 50 to 53 but should be 60 by Easter Sunday.
Did you get a sniff of TS ME? I do like that one but ET WD is still my absolute favorite of any.
I wanted to say and forgot, went to get DH car oil changed(didn't has that newer type oil so have to wait longer) they did rotate the tires and check everything else out and while waiting we both had 2 cups of coffee. They have a coffee maker that makes the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted(yes I have tasted Keurig several times). This one also just makes a cup as you put this pouch in, pouch has a round disk about the size of a small button. There is a see through glass in front near the top and you press what you want, coffee, tea of hot chocolate than when you press that button the front bottom drawer opens where you put this flat pouch. You don't do anything else and you see a bar that says your coffee is brewing, takes a minute than says finished and be careful it is very hot. Hot isn't the word, can hardly hold the cup it is so hot. I wrap a few napkins around the cup to carry it back to where we are sitting. They have different kinds of coffee and different strengths. Each one tells you if it is a breakfast light, breakfast medium, regular or strong/robust or decaf than it says if it is light in taste or, well balanced or something else, is several bars on the bottom that each say what or how strong it is. You also don't take the pouch out, don't know where it goes but the guy said the machine takes care of it so just take your coffee cup. I have never seen a machine like this but must be heavy duty since that place is open from 7 AM till 9 PM and everyone is always having coffee whether you are there to purchase a car or there for service plus the people that work there, coffee maker gets a workout.
Ever see one like this. I will have to find a name on it next time I go there.

Desi -- Glad your snow is gone but it really does feel like November especially at night -- had to turn the furnace up again; still using fleece sheets and comforter.
Don't ever pass a TJ's without stopping in for their K cups -- they are absolutely the best. Read that the plastic K cups are starting to be an environmental hazard as they do not dissolve. Guess they're working on a way to manufacture them so they don't cause a problem.
When in CVS they had fragrance dupes -- tried the Cashmere Mist and it wasn't bad at all. Will have to check out the dupes in Walgreens especially the TSwift.
doglover -- Glad the Aldi boneless ribs were good. I sometimes buy their smoked turkey for sandwiches (it comes in a plastic box type pkg.) -- will have to give the honey ham a try. Do like their cheeses and they are so reasonable as well as their milk.
Glad you and DH got to try the fancy one cup coffeemaker when you had the car serviced. Went online and looked it up and the one I saw with button shaped pods was a Tassimo brand. My hairdresser has a Coffemate one cup coffeemaker now and she buys her k cups at Family Dollar.
I think it's best to layer lotion and shower gel -- I find that the fragrance of most shower gels doesn't last. Looked at Walmart.com for Scandaleyes Guilty Grey and they have it. It does look a little chubbier than the one I have now in Taupe but not as chubby as the Ulta.
Weatherwise we broke a record too -- got down to 19 or 20 the other night.
Have a nice day everyone!

Hi guys. Weather-dude said today's temps were like mid-February! So many stores already have plants in stock. They'd die if you planted them now, and will probably die in the stores, they don't really take care of them.
Doglover, I know I have sniffed at least one or 2 of TS scents before, so, being short on arm-room, didn't test hers.
I know the ones I had smelled didn't wow me. Most celebrity scents don't, but I would buy them if they did. All newer scents seem to have the identical ingredients. Some kind of scary like coumarin, salicylates, linalool, and a ton of benzene and phalate preservatives. Won't stop wearing scents but it sure gives me pause.
I definitely should have stopped for K cups Janet. I just need the plain caffeinated ones right now.
Doglover, ITA Janet, but the Tassimo disks aren't super tiny. Will see if there is anything even smaller. You could call and ask what brand it is, may be something just for industrial use that we can't get.
Best thing about today beside sun out, is the foot and eye seem pretty much back to normal!

Beauty with benefits on now.

These aren't disks but are more like an oblong pouch with a tiny disk, small button size, on the very top and that is what pokes out once you put that little pouch down into the slot. The front has a large oval glass and on the left side says coffee, tea or hot cocoa, in a straight line down on the left side. There are buttons beside each of those and you press whichever pouch you are going to be putting in the slot when the door opens. Once you press a button the door opens and you put the pouch in and close the door than a bar comes on in that window and show the progress of your coffee(or tea of cocoa) and when it says finished it says be careful, very hot. You just take you cup away and walk away. No idea where that pouch goes but is taken care of the guy told me. This is in use from 7 AM till 9 PM every day so it has to be most likely something commercial to take something like this? All I know is it made great coffee.
Janet, the Rimmel ScandalEyes is just a tad narrower in diameter than the Ulta or Tarte ones but not that much. They do sharpen much better and seems to last longer when on, for me anyway. I reach for that guilty grey almost every day but once in awhile I do like the paranoid purple when smudged, nice smokey look and not over the top.
You are right, layering does make the scents last longer.
BTW, you said you needed lights/lamps, urge you to take a look at the pole/tree lamp I got at Target for $39.99. It is brushed nickel and really made very very well. It is super sturdy, very firm heavy base DH said than the 3 lamps are nearer the top of the pole. All 3 lamps have little holes(vents) around the perimeter near the top of them, lets heat out but also casts a small light. Each lamp takes a 60 watt bulb and believe me, the way these are set the light is very bright, great light. I love that each lamp is individually operated. I put a 15 watt bulb in one lamp and have that on all the time for a night light. Our dogs won't go out in the dark so I have this light between the dining room and family room, wide opening arch and is just off the opening so the dogs can see it and go through the dining room and family room to the doggy door. I have a small night light at the doggy door than the outside light is also on at the outside door for them. I have weird dogs, afraid of the dark, lol. Anyway, just wanted to let you know how much we both really like this new pole/tree lamp, well worth what we paid for it, made very well, looks great and does a fantastic job so, if interested, is a great lamp. Looks better in person than online BTW.
Desi, I don't know where I read but did read where her wonderstruck enchanted was one of the better scents by any celebrity and do think that although ET WD is still my absolute favorite although this TS WE is one I will repurchase which is saying something for me. I don't care for the regular wonderstruck at all though, only the enchanted one.
Same weather, well below freezing at night but should get better by Sunday, Easter, great. I know here they say out last frost day is May 15 but we have had them after that too so now I don't plant till Memorial Day weekend and is when I take my plants out that I keep in the basement over the winter.

Doglover, will try it next time I see the TS scent.
Bitter cold today, you'd never know it's April, but is supposed to warm up.
Pole lamps are great, so many options.
After Googling, I think that must be some kind of commercial beverage machine. None I have seen have a super tiny disk topped thingy. Probably costs a bundle, but maybe someday they will offer a home version.

doglover: can't help with the coffee machine. I'm a tea drinker. I never even notice coffee makers.
Desi: You should be getting warmer weather soon. We had 60s and sunny here. I had windows open.
Janet: I'm thinking you either had nicer weather today or will get it tomorrow. Would you be able to post what meds the doc but Benson on?
Predicting 70s for Easter Sunday.
I had the day off from PT today. Yesterday my therapist put me in a traction device. Up until now, he had been doing manual traction and massage. The little gizmo is something that can be prescribed. Hoping insurance pays for it. If not, I won't be getting one.
Pepe had a bad day today. He fell in the yard twice. First time was a big fall. DH needs to re-seed the yard, as it is a mess from a certain little miss going #1. Pepe just didn't have any traction and went over on his side. Then he fell back over when he was getting up.
Do not worry, as soon as he saw my neighbor, he was fine. And when he tried to mooch some of my dinner. And when I was cutting up strawberries. It seems that whenever he has something that really motivates him, his issues go away. You should see him move when there is cheese involved.
