Janet, as Desi says, check out Elf or one of the other cheapie brands for a sharpener, sharpener should be sharpeners I would think? Too bad we don't have a Trader Joe's, would like one I would think but never in one I don't know so, but think I would. Funny, all the other shops you say you have in that Ulta one we too have but no TJ, have Famous Footwear, DSW, Ross, Christmas Tree Shoppe, Target, Sam's club, Ulta of course, Five Below, and several eating places, mattress place, game place(for kids) and vision works and a hand made jewelry store.

Desi, I too wouldn't bother putting moleskin, why should you have to buy and pay for stuff to try and make the shoes comfy when they should be comfy to start with or within a day or two at most.

very happy with the yard but now have to get a solid fence to put where the arbs were taken out, need my privacy.

this is the one I used today. Let me tell you, I have trouble with staying power, not with this one. I put it on around 5 PM and just washed it off around 6 AM this morning. It is sort of spicy, on me anyway. On me it is almost identical to PSS Butterfly by HM. It is a stronger scent than I am use to and not sure if I like it or not since I really didn't care for Butterfly on me. You can see by the notes in it what it is to be but I don't smell vanilla on me or honeysu*kle which is a favorite of DH nor do I know what freesia smells like so, not sure but is a bit spicy on me. It does say for evening and I do think that unless you like a stronger scent that really really really lasts and lasts. I was surprised at the staying power.

It must have been(hope so anyway) the Enchanted Wonderstruck I smelled on the paper things in my magazines although you really can't tell totally by them but will use the enchanted wonderstruck tomorrow, Friday, and will post later at night and say how I liked or didn't this one.

Doglover, hope Enchanted works better for you. Scents are as hard to pick or worse even than foundations and shoes. We keep trying though! It's always the scents we don 't like that seem to last, too.

I would love some privacy, anywhere in our yard. It's a total fishbowl, not a bit of privacy on any side. Has they not erected condos on one side starting the week we moved in, we would sort of had some.

It doesn't seem right to me either to have to plaster band-aids and moleskin to wear the sandals. Oddly enough, found an almost exact style on-line, same as the TSV price. Not going to order though and they don't have the same shades.

Definitely returning the sandals. The top of my left foot is killing me. It feels like a deep bruise or it was injured somehow with the straps. I can't even wear Birki sandals today without pain, even using band-aids to pad the area. Wearing heavy socks and Birki clogs.

Hi all -- It was cool this morning but warmed up beautifully -- feels almost like summer! Went to Tops for a few things I forgot yesterday then went to the Library. DD from CA called today -- DGS just got braces and getting used to eating with them; his twin sister has had braces since the summer.

Desi -- Glad you had a good eye checkup and don't have to go back for 6 months. We're trying to get all our checkups done before we go to the cottage -- April 21 we go to the Audiologist and April 22 I go for a Mammo.

No use trying to doctor up your sandals -- best to return them and keep trying until you find a pair that are comfortable.

Good ideal about looking for just a plain old pencil sharpener -- must have them in all sizes and I'm going to look around the house as I just may have some.

doglover -- With the arbs gone you lost some of your privacy which is important even if you get along well with your neighbors. Our houses are fairly close together and we only have a chain link fence but our neighbors in the back have high wooden fences. We're gone all summer so it doesn't bother us too much.

Glad the Wonderstruck has staying power -- may it's the amber or the woodsy scent that makes it seem strong. Can't wait to hear how you like the Enchanted Wonderstruck. I like the Bath & Body Shop Freesia -- don't know if it's a single note or a combination of others but it's very soft and floral.

I was looking at the Elf cosmetics when in Target the other day but didn't notice any sharpeners. You are so right when you say a sharpener is a sharpener. The Ulta sharpener had 2 sharpeners and it was $2.50.

I do like Trader Joe's -- went with DD the first time and she pointed out all the things she usually buys. They have quite a bit of frozen items -- some are serving for two which is nice; a nice variety of cheeses and dips and appetizers.

Janet, glad you had a nice day. It's warmer today but drizzly.

Some pencil sharpeners will just keep eating the pencil and break off the tip. Test it out on a cheap one first if you can. I don't think the cost is the way to tell. Most are made in China but sometimes you can find others made in different countries that seem better.

Yep, after I pack them up, the torture sandals are going back.

I used to sit on our teensy excuse for a fishbowl porch in the summer. The last 10 yrs or so, the mosquitos have made that impossible to enjoy.

I absolutely love wonderstruck enchanted. It is very soft but lingers, not quite as long as the regular wonderstruck but almost and stays soft the whole entire time. I already got a compliment on it 2 if you count DH since he usually doesn't say too much unless he doesn't like something.

Desi, don't blame you at all for sending the sandals back. I would too when they hurt like that, no sense keeping them.

Janet, this is a really nice soft scent that lingers, sort of a soft musk and vanilla blend with a very soft floral mixed in there someplace.

So right, really miss those arbs now but planning on putting up a solid fence tight up against our 4 feet high chain link, a 5 foot one will be just enough for privacy which we like when sitting on the patio so, will put the fence in just the area the arbs were since that is plenty for privacy, our patio will be private again which is what we want plus once the fence is up I will have privacy at my kitchen window as well as the door going out the side which is where the doggy door is and is all open, have venetian blinds there right now and have to have them from top to bottom where when the arbs were there I only needed them on the top of the door so, am hoping we can get a fence put in before too long.

Desi -- Another beautiful day - definitely sweater weather if you're not moving much. People are out walking and kiddies on bicyles, etc. We have a daycare across from us and the little ones have finally been able to play outside after a long and cold Winter -- fun to watch them.

Glad that the torture sandals are going back. I'm sure you'll be able to find a more comfortable pair.

I know that regular pencil sharpeners really do a job on pencils -- I have a nail white pencil and try to sharpen it but it breaks off in pieces.

doglover -- So glad you love the Enchanted Wonderstruck -- the notes sound so pleasant too. Going to check if they have a roller ball in that fragrance. Glad that your DH complemented you on the fragrance. Mine never notices fragrance at all. I checked Amazon and they have a small Vanilla Fields spray cologne but VF never had a roller ball.

You'll be happy when your the new fence goes up -- your arbs must have been a good size too. You need the privacy because you, DH and your doggies spend so much time outdoors in the nice weather.

Did you see the Philosophy TSV? It's a good price for the amount of product you get but it would last forever!

I passed on the TSV. Once shipping and tax are added, its around $104. I also didn't like the FIL in the body lotion last time, so I was thinking the whipped cream thing would be the same way. Plus, ordering from PSS, or any other online bath and body place would be cheaper.

Desi: Sorry the sandals didn't work for you. Maybe you will find something in a brick and mortar store where you can actually try it before you buy it.

doglover: Happy you like the 2nd Wonderstruck. It sounds too floral for me, but glad you like it.

Janet: Let me know when you find a sharpener that works. I'd like to get another one, just to have. I do have the one that came with the Tarte chubby liners many years ago.

Weather here is amazing. Its 70 now. Tomorrow is supposed to be around 80. Grass is growing and my hyacinths are starting to send some green through the mulch.

Doglover, glad you really like the last scent! Sounds like a winner. None of the woody bott0m-notes. I think that's what most of us don't care for, and what lingers when the floral notes wear off. Must work if you already got complements!

The condos next door are several stories high, and we are a tiny ranch. No fence high enough to block that out unfortunately.

Janet, it's fun to watch little ones enjoying the nice weather.

I mostly got the sandals for the name, and the back-strap. My left foot still hurts on top when I walk. I can't remember sandals ever doing this to me.

Pepe's mom, nothing Philosophy grabbed me either. I don't use shower gels and use other face products, except for Purity.
